Just finished episode 4 and this series is now on my watch list. The plot is interesting and good pace. There is a jump of 5 years from episode 3 to 4 which was good for the development of the plot. I've always enjoyed Akin Koc's acting and have been following most of his series. In this series, he delivers again as Umut. Although it looks like another revenge series, it does have a fresh approach. Oxan Guven as Harun is a refreshing and interesting take. There's 3 weaknesses I see from this series. Firstly, it's supposed to touch on criminal investigation and law but it really just does a surface touch and forgets about DNA evidence of a murder. The audience is supposed to accept evidence tampering and possible corruption amongst officials to frame an innocent man as the murderer. Secondly, there's very little chemistry between Umut and Alev - it's like all of a sudden they become close to each other. Thirdly is more personal, I guess. I've watched Serra Ariturk on another series and there's more improvement needed in her acting. Same thing in this series. I find myself hoping where's another female lead to be introduced for Umut in this series.

Update 31-05-2024. Series was good and interesting when it was released until episode 11, then dialogue/scenario got boring, dull, and no where to go with the story repeat, repeat, and repeat. Series/story became very predictable, as if writers are stretching the story to its maximum to gain episode numbers, or ran out of scenario/story to write about. Sad to see such a beautiful series takes a dive south. As sometimes with Turkish series, they have a great start, and for some reason writers don't know how to continue. If actor wants to exit the series, the actor gets killed as usual like the character 'Kadri' as he did also in the series 'Yargi' which is bad acting business.
Before ep12: As always the big fish eats the small fish in the real world, but not in this interesting and passionate series. No matter how injustice, forging documents, bribing, and playing with evidence the "gang of criminals" from politicians or police or mafia mastermind forging documents and evidence to prove it got the upper deck, there is always judgement day for them! The series 'Tas Kagit Makas' is a beautiful series, sentimental, and powerful. Justice will be served to those who deserve it. 'Ekin' and 'Ozan' deliver a combustible and powerful combination.

It is heart breaking but beautiful. Love the actors, love the true story feeling to it. I have been counting my days to watch the second episode and I am impatiently waiting for it. The story is different rather than focusing on love it focuses on family importance. I just wish the female lead actor with curly hair was someone better. I don't really enjoy her movies, I never watched the one she had with Kadir even though I really like Kadir. Hopefully the ratings go up and they continue the series as there have been a lot of early final series recently which is sad. I love love love this series.
One of the best drama in case of story line I had ever seen. I think everyone should watch this drama. Kadir Intelligence is insane he has a rare disease of capturing photogenic memory. How this rich people use of poor people is depicted I'm this series. How difficult to hire a expensive lawyer for common man but if you are intelligent and brave enough to defend yourself no one will able to take advantage from you. Our countries should consider series on this sensitive topics. In India they only make series on fightings and fake love stories. But am watching turkish series for so long and I bet that nothing is better than this.

Imagine a country in which justice system has been a playground for the rich, whereas the only choice for the poor is to acquiesce. Imagine a country in which the only typical plot for series is cheating, often "beautified" by spineless characters and indecent plots. This series is here to break the cycle with its plot & characters. And This series was born from this country. This means a lot! This means a spark of hope, a sign of positive change and many more things.
It is as if a mixture of the series called Sahsiyet (Persona) and other crime movies were wrapped around and turned into something original and thus a masterpiece was born! This series needs to be immediately translated into English and other languages.
I rarely leave reviews on movies/series in IMDB, but I couldn't stop myself from praising this masterpiece and give it what it deserves, making everyone see once again that this series should never be forgotten and it needs to be talked about, showed in every place possible!
