This little independent thriller turned out to be quiet interesting and much better than I thought it would be. Director Cade Saint does a great job in keeping the viewer engaged in this strange story that has a nightmarish feel to it. The acting may be a bit weak at times. It's not too bad however it's not quiet Oscar worthy either, but Henry Friedman, who plays the main character's little brother, does deliver a strong supporting performance. He has a nice natural on screen presence that really draws you in and makes you feel for his character. But what really makes the film interesting is the film's creepy atmosphere, the cinematography, and Cade Saint's creepy camera work. The ending is also quiet shocking. Grim Reapers is a nice film to watch with the lights turned down and the sound turned up.
