Two short scenes (Max changing his clothes outside of Kristin's house, and Max giving Kristin the necklace) were added during production to fix what would have been continuity errors in costuming.
Charles Wetzel Jr. (Max) lost 20 pounds over the course of filming and some of the shots featuring him were horizontally stretched to hide this fact.
Josh Davis plays one of the poker players as well as one of the SWAT officers. Since he is left alone guarding Chris, Mike and Steve and is not killed or seen again, it's been theorized that he was an undercover agent. There is enough time for him to get Max's friends outside, report to the incoming police, don a SWAT uniform and join the raid.
