All the factors are in their highest level considering limitations and the atmosphere in the time "Roozi Roozegari=once upon a time" has been produced and aired.
Except maybe one or two scenes in some episodes closed to the final, the rest is an illustration of a historical period of time in Iran that masterfully brought to us by great actors and actress showing their best performance, perfect plots and writings, and admirable directing.
This series is about life of nomads, common people in villages and difficulties and dangers they face including bandit gangs in central regions of Iran about a century ago where the government is absent. It provides best visual experience which makes the viewers live in the story. The series also demonstrate people's moral challenges and consequential paradoxical behavior in a society that has been made based on religious lessons combines with mystical and sectarian ideas instead of organized education. Moreover, the professional and sweet sense of humor in story telling has made it even more attractive.
I definitely suggest anyone who knows Farsi (Persian) to at least once watch this series. I am not sure if subtitles in English or other languages are available for it or I would recommend it to everyone as well.
