The director who also wrote the script stated that he wrote the script based on his high school experience. The character he resembles the most is the awkward Filip, although he said he wishes he would have been the main protagonist Kaj in his high school years.
This was the first film of the lead actress Katja Predan. She is actually studying to become a director.
The film was shot in the Alpine town of Kranj, Slovenia.
The film had its premiere at the Cineplexx Theatre in Rudnik, Ljubljana on December 14th 2023.
