Winners of the 2024 CrimeCon Clue Awards were announced tonight at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville, Tn during the third annual awards gala, which aired live on Law&Crime Network. Award-winning journalist and NewsNation anchor Ashleigh Banfield hosted the ceremony, celebrating excellence in true crime content, with Netflix, Hulu, NBC, Black and Missing, Hachette Books and CBC Podcasts among the trophy recipients.

Clue’s 2024 “Crimefighter of the Year” recipient, John Walsh, accepted the special honor from last year’s recipient, The Gabby Petito Foundation. Walsh, the iconic host and creator of Fox’s America’s Most Wanted, is celebrating the 40-year anniversary of his non-profit organization, The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (Ncmec).

The ceremony, which announced this year’s nominees on Thursday, will also air live on the Law&Crime Network and stream on that channel’s social platforms.

As part of the event, John Walsh will be honored with the “crimefighter of the year” award for his work on “America’s Most Wanted” as well as his help in creating the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
