Polar Park (2023) is an alternate version of Nobody Else But You (2011), and reprises its two lead actors in similar roles (Jean-Paul Rouve and Guillaume Gouix), the same location (Mouthe, the coldest town of France), most of the original film crew and several other original cast members, but follows a different storyline. Nobody Else But You (2011)'s lead actress Sophie Quinton, however, doesn't star in the series, but she appears in a poster that is briefly shown in the series (the poster that features Fabien Franck, the fictional local ski champion, at the hotel reception and at the bar).
The number 5 constantly appears throughout the series (same as in Nobody Else But You (2011) ) and is even credited in the ending credits in the "thanks" section.
