One of the highlights of the year so far

An effective, thought-provoking, and charming exploration of life as a young person in the 2020s, this film excels with its well-crafted story that prefers to show rather than tell. It balances surprisingly funny jokes and a plausible romantic storyline with natural leading performances, all beautifully captured through lovely minimalist cinematography. The dynamic between the characters is engaging, although I wished for more scenes with the girlfriend to fully explore her perspective.
