Sam is a playboy in the Caribbean who falls in love with the local fruit merchant's daughter, Angela. Sam knew from the moment they met that this the woman destined to change his life. Sam and Angela want to get out of the countryside to travel the world and make their dreams come true. After getting permission from her mother, he marries her. Unfortunately, they face many obstacles along the way, and Sam struggles with what it means to be a man for his family.
