Allegorical Twilight Zone-esque Tale of Racism

This short suffers from what appears to be a low budget and a bare-bones script. I wish we saw more of the unit's background -- more character development and depiction of how they got where they were instead of just hearing about it.

But the point of the short -- the racism suffered by African Americans in WWII despite the patriotism of black soldiers -- is accurate although the exact event appears to be fictional. All in all a credible short given what appears to be a very low budget. I've seen early Coppola work, and it had many of the same flaws, so I hope to see more from the team who made this.
