Trivia
The photograph that Raj has on his office wall behind his chair, the one with the two orange rings, is the Hourglass Planetary Nebula taken in 1995 by the Hubble Space Telescope.

Goofs
Sheldon says that the canceled show Alphas (2011) ended with "...all the residents on New York either dead or unconscious." This is not even close to how it ended. The ending was all the people who were in Grand Central Station were unconscious - except for Gary Bell - and the audience knew that all Alphas would be alive and enhanced, and were not sure as to the fate of the ordinary humans. Everyone else in the world was unaffected, as the team had successfully shut down the power grid.

The Closure Alternative

Now that this show seems to have branched out into telling three stories an episode to accommodate its larger cast (and the fact that everyone in it is able to carry their own storylines) the need for tighter/stronger plots is essential.

This episodes manages that quite nicely, with all the plots working well.

I like the slow growth in the character of Penny, and the continued Sheldon/Amy dynamic.

The storyline that works best though is the one involving Raj. His budding relationship with Lucy has been one of the highlights of this sixth series, and it's been lovely to see that character finally get some development.

All in all, one of the more complete episodes.
