The twist and turns are ok but the policing is a mess.
Nine episodes in and there are lots of twists and turns, a few dead bodies, but no arrests with charges. My guess is the script was not all that complete or just the research on the policing part was not all that well done. There are lots of interrogation room threats - on both sides but no other meat involved.
The story involves large set of character, mainly of 2 generations. One cool prosecutor with rich family.
Another female prosecutor from a small town. There's also a tall hothead cop friend from that same town with a quiet little brother.
Some character seems to be solely for comedic relief. Everyone is suspect in the beginning but it's kinda clear who is taking advantage and the true evil one is.
The opening is sorta rough about a serial murderer. Seems to me the writer can not make up mind on what is the point except all the thriller, murdering twist and turn.
So its all surface wax and not engine here up to ep8.
-------
Then a 2nd story developed an investigation on a different kind of evil. So the contrast is good. Too bad it took a while. It seems the first half of the story has too much smoke and for far too long. This story has a bit more heft, deft and interest. Ties everything together.
Still, it's a laborious to get to the end.

I honestly don't understand why people don't like this series. The low score on IMDb is totally unwarranted. This was a good series. Yes there were parts of it where the writing could've been better but overall it's good. I'm not sure if they're hating on it because of the male protagonist. But I like him. I've seen him in other series and he's good. Yes he chooses roles sometimes where he's acting the fool and joking around but overall, he's a good actor. His new serious Marry my husband shows him in a much different light, so hopefully people won't hate on that serious also. It has to be because of him because the series was so good and yet people hate it and it's score on IMDb is pitiful.
Watch it for yourself because the haters are hating on it and it's ridiculous.

1- Very boring and no meaning and I couldn't complete it,
2- The story is stupid and abusive for some countries.
3- The second episode was not needed for it and it was just increasing the number of episodes.
4- This curious word is rarely, if ever, found in natural use. It appeared occasionally in 17th-century dictionaries, largely disappeared for a few hundred years, and then reappeared in the 20th century in books of trivia or writing about 17th-century lexicography. That's history's way of saying: useless.
5- Most of the actors are new in the field and they only represent a few series, so they don't have enough experience.
