I must say, I was also drawn into the trilogy, not because I am a fan of the duo, but more of Sarah's songs. This third installment is the best of the three. As corny as Filipino rom-coms can get, this one follows all hollywood rom-com formulas. This shows a stronger more independent Laida, while Miggy's character reverts back to the "I am seeking acceptance/success" character from "A Very Special Love" with a twist of the careless badboy type.
Laida's character shows a strong facade, but is in turmoil inside, both from family and love life matters. She puts on a show of strength up to the point where the audience is about to get fed up with it, but Sarah played the character so well, that she shows Laida's soft and loving side in subtleties where the audience will laugh or cry with her.
Miggy on the other hand is very hard to read at times. Which I think was well acted by John. From his sometimes self-centered persona to his side that loves Laida, John did it well. But all in all Miggy's character in this movie was overshadowed by Laida's much more vocal and sometimes arrogant persona.
The movie was made more enjoyable with the trio of Matet, Joross, and Gio. In my opinion, they made the comedy aspect of it funny and at the same time revealing what Miggy and Laida really feel for/about each other.
All in all an enjoyable movie if you like Filipino rom-coms. The rabid AshLloyd fans will rate this movie a 10 for sure, due to how the movie ends on a high note.
On the other hand, those that have never heard of Sarah or John (which is impossibe in the Filipino community) will probably not enjoy this move that much. The corny ways Filipino rom-coms are will probably get plenty of head shakes from that group of audience.
A solid 7/10.

I must say, this is a feel good movie! All in all, It Takes A Man and A Woman tackles about the reality of being in a relationship. Betrayal, Patience, Trust and most of all Forgiveness: these are the elements of reality that are discussed in this movie.
It is no doubt that this 3rd installment is a blockbuster hit because the emotions are well expressed! They will make you laugh hard and put you into tears.
I believe that the planned 4th installment will continue its streak as a blockbuster hit for many of the story's and love team's followers are looking forward to their story now as a family!

I soooo love this movie!...from A Very Special Love, then You changed my life...and then this one...It takes a man and a woman....grabeh!...kiligmuch!
Never got tired of watching this film :) this film is much better than the 2. Ashlloyd has always been the best love team for me :) chemistry on its best :) After being nominated in the recently concluded Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards (KCA), Pop Star Princess Sarah Geronimo continues to be recognized worldwide as she adds another feather to her cap -- this time from the World Music Awards 2013.
The Kapamilya singer-actress is nominated in three different categories: World's Best Female Artist, World's Best Live Act and World's Best Entertainer of the Year.

I must say, Sarah G. Is a good person and a good character. She knows how to stay focus in her goal and make Lloydie fall in love with her over and over again. This movie also tells us that if you want or love someone you need to pursue the person gou love and you need to make sacrifices for them to realize how much you love them. Unless, they will only realize the true meaning of love when that person was already gone and wil never come back in to our lives again. Not only sometimes, but all the time, we need to express and tell our feelings to our love once. So that when time comes you will never regret what you've done.
