Tarik and Elif meet when Tarik goes to get his sister birthday gift with her daughter Ayse. Tarik's sister Yelsim had just found out that her husband has been cheating on her all these while and his sister who also claims to like Tarik also wanted him for his money. Tarik's sister calls Tarik to give him this heartbreaking news , unbeknown to her, her husband's sister already sent a man to kidnap her. While trying to kidnap Yelsim, the man mistakenly shoots her just when Tarik gets home with his Nephew "Ayse" and meets his sister almost dying in her car. Yelsim eventually dies in the hands of her brother and Tarik vows to get revenge for his sister even after one year. Elif on the other hand lost her younger sister when they were very young and now has just one brother to cater for.
