No pun intended - I am still not entirely sure if the main character is being shamed, but I would like to believe that we just witness and accompany her through her struggle ... and are supposed to feel for her instead of belittle her. Again might be wrong by thinking that, but I want to give this the benefit of the doubt to say the least.

There are some really good make up and special effects - even more impressive if you consider this being a short movie (and probably not having much of a budget either). Acting is fine and the run time is short enough to keep you engaged the whole way through. Support women and their decision - as in their body, their choice.

A teenager, pregnant, understands than for abortion , the will of her parents is essential. On internet, she discovers a presumed solution - a mythological creature from Philippinese tradition who sucks babies before their birth.

The parents are hostiles to idea but the woman who seems help her is one of neighbors.

The make up, the special effects, the pretty surprising final are generous good points of this short film about a risk of an age , mythology of Philipine and new beginning, against fears.

Thrill, creepy, dark , it is, first, an useful short film, reminding a not so rare social phenomenon , working, in same measure, as fair portrait of famility relations.
