Amazon miniTV premiered its star-studded series ‘Jab We Matched’ on 10th February 2023. The show’s fresh narrative combined with stellar acting has been widely appreciated and applauded by audiences. The anthology series featured popular and well-known actors – Abhishek Nigam, Priyank Sharma, Mayur More, Prit Kamani, Shivangi Joshi, Jasmin Bhasin, and Revathi Pillai. The four episodic series explores four very diverse and unique stories depicting how people have different perceptions regarding new age dating.

‘Middle Class Love’ actor Prit Kamani, who is part of the anthology series, ‘Jab We Matched’, talked about his idea of dating and relationships, and how he had a crush on Bollywood actress Manisha Koirala since he watched her film ‘Dil Se’. The actor also said that earlier, he was not familiar with the concept of dating and was even hesitant to discuss it.

Prit made a revelation: “I had the opportunity to work with the amazing Manisha Koirala, for my film ‘Maska’. She is so kind and beautiful. I have had a crush on her since ‘Dil Se’ and I still do.”

‘Jab We Matched’ is an anthology series with four stand-alone episodes and Prit is playing one of the lead roles in the episode ‘Sirf Ek Date’. He said that earlier, dating was not a very familiar term for him and it was not easy for him to talk about it with anyone.

Ex-‘Bigg Boss 16’ contestant Jasmin Bhasin, who is currently seen in the web series ‘Jab We Matched’, expressed her opinions on relationships, love, and breakups. She said: “You always have a partner to celebrate happiness, you always have a partner to cry on his shoulder during the dull moments basically. You have a companion forever in your good and bad which is a beautiful thing. There is nothing called worst as long as you are in a meaningful relationship in both good and bad days. So there is no worst part of falling in love.”

Jasmin, who is quite famous for her role in ‘Tashan-e-Ishq’ and ‘Dil Se Dil Tak’, shared her perspective about life partners turning best friends and if this is possible.

She said: “Your husband will only be the person whom you have chosen as a partner, your children’s father, your companion with whom you spend the rest of your life.

‘Laal Ishq’ actor Priyank Sharma, who is currently seen in the web show ‘Jab We Matched’, talked about love, relationships, his recent breakup and why he enjoys being single.

He shared: “The freedom, the independence, you don’t need to justify yourself to anybody out there. Your energy is preserved, and you get to focus on good things, your career, family, friends, and your parents. And this is something I have enjoyed being single.”

He also added about how his life changed after his breakup and what he learned from it: “What breakup has taught me is that moving on is for real. I am a guy who is very old-school. Mumbai, Feb 19 (Ians) Abhishek Nigam, who made his TV debut with ‘Akbar-Rakht se Takht ka Safar’, is currently seen in the web show ‘Jab We Matched’. The actor spoke about playing a nerdy guy, how it is different from previous roles, and the challenges in portraying it.
