Throughout the series characters are seen in bed together naked (no nudity is shown). There is many kissing scenes or just sexual scenes leading up to sex.

One of the main characters gets a temporary sketch of a tattoo on her back, which is a drawing of her own face. She explains to her boyfriend that "This way no matter how they do it, they'll be making eye contact." (She doesn't end up getting the tattoo however)

There is occasional violence in the show, mostly done for comedic reasons. Most of the scenes are in season one, such as a character hitting another character with a car (by accident), or a character tackling another character.

Throughout the series characters are shown using bongs and just getting high in general.

When one of the main characters of the series is introduce, she admits to having attempted suicide. This is never discussed much in the series or put in detail.
