To start my review I would like to say that I absolutely love the cast. Great actors!
Up to episode 13 the story caused huge suspense and was a thriller with high potential. And then from there on everything went down.
I was so disappointed with how the story turned from absolutely great to terrible within one episode. The creators of the series ( writers/ directors) made huge mistakes in the end. The way they turned the storyline is that they took away the entire climax.
After episode 14 I rapidly lost my interest. I watched the last 2 episodes which were predictable and went from bad to horrible. What a shame.
The last 2 murders were not serving the storyline any good. When they killed my favourite character I knew that they could not turn around the storyline no matter what they did. It was a big mistake. All the hope on a blossoming romance was ended.
The last 2 episodes were ridiculously written. Who approves this kind of writing? And why would any producer pay to have the story made like this.
I start to notice that Netflix productions create a hype in emotions and that's about it. They aren't able to deliver good writing.
I hope all these talented actors will be more critical when choosing a role and that they demand better scripts and budgets. Netflix seems to be using them.
All with all I would unfortunately not recommend this show. Strictly because of the ending.
Actors did their work exceedingly well. It's the writers and directors that should have done better.

Very innovative drama attempting to balance a comedy/satire show with a murder/mystery one. The writing is pretty slick, despite the material at first seeming absurd (!) Once you've accepted the initial premise, however that our heroine vet surgeon, Han Ji-Min has become imbued with special powers there's plenty of entertainment that awaits. What I really appreciated the most were the oblique Korean cultural gags, for example that the village shaman would idolize of all people the US General. MacArthur, or that this small fishing community had its own idioms of expression that proved pretty baffling to outsiders (in the same vein as outsiders to Korea might initially encounter Korean society). At one point the script even went as far as to jokingly reference lines from another K-Drama, "My Liberation Diary". But Behind My Touch does illustrate just how far K-Drama has progressed since 2010, and if you are in the mood for a light, satirical murder mystery then this could be the one.

I started this show unsure if I would like it, but the plot is so devious and unusual, that it makes me giggle. The comedy is fresh, not too zany, but strikes the right balance. It feels a bit like a slice of life story with characters (including supporting characters) that by episode 3, you start to care about. The female lead has a funny likeable energy, as well as the male lead, Lee Min Ki. I've seen him in a few kdramas, but the most memorable role for me was his role in, "Because This is My First Life," which is one of my favorites. I also saw him in Monster where he played a vicious serial killer who was so scary I didn't realize it was the same actor, which speaks to his range and acting abilities. In "Because This is My First Life", he is very restrained. His character in this role he is so different and relaxed. Oh and I also saw him in "The Beauty Inside" as the romantic lead, which is absolutely worth watching. I've seen the heroine in something else but I will have to put my finger on what it was, but I do like her.
This story, with its weirdness could have easily failed, but because of the lead actress and actor's acting abilities, the story shines and feels fun. Great job all around with the warm supporting cast.
The story left me suspecting everyone as the potential serial killer but I was not disappointed with who it turned out to be since I had suspected him all along on and off.
At times I felt like they killed off characters who should not have been killed off. So that was a disappointment. My only real complaint is that the last episode was completely nonsensical in every sense of the word and if the actors were not so charming they would not have been able to pull it off. The plot and the writing in the last episode was abysmal and all over the place. I could not believe how bad the last episode was. They managed to resolve the serial killing about 3/4 ths into the episode but there were so many things that was nonsensical about how the police officers and the violent crime division handled finding the killer that that I can no longer suspend disbelief. Still, in all it is a fun show that really made me laugh so I still enjoyed it overall.

So far, one episode of this series has been aired and it has a good rating in terms of viewership. The comedy is sweet and the topic is fresh and funny. The director has good taste and the color scheme of the scene is very eye-catching. The emotional story between humans and animals will affect you and in general, I think this series can make us feel good for sixteen episodes. The actors are good choices for their roles. Han Jimin in the role of a passionate veterinarian, shows the freshness of the character well and you suddenly love him. Lee Min Ki plays the role of a detective who came to a village to get a promotion, instead of solving murder cases, he has to deal with trivial cases.
On the other hand, he has a misunderstanding with the village vet and this causes funny events that amuse the audience. I look forward to the continuation of the series.

Only 4 episodes have been aired, and I've enjoyed them quite a bit so far.
The setting is comfortable and the characters are fun. Like another reviewer mentioned, no annoying personalities have showed up, at least not yet. The aunt has the potential to become annoying but she has mostly been amusing till now.
I like the humor - it's not over-the-top and not based on stupidity, like in many Korean shows.
There's only one thing which bothered me: how could the aunt "sell" our female lead to a fish farm without her consent? It seemed to be a type of slavery on some island. Why do they all just go back to normal? Is it some sort of vet duty? It must be some local cultural reference that I'm missing.
Edit: sadly, I have to remove a few stars now that I have watched the full series.
As the story develops, I was becoming more and more incredulous. Based on the opening episodes, I've settled for a cosy small town mystery with cute animals--only to find myself watching a grim, mass murder rampage.
It's not the first time that a Korean drama does this complete genre switch on me. I can't say I like it. In this case, I just can't mix "light comedy" with "killing spree."
The last 2 episodes are just farcical.

If you're in mood for laid back n fun cozy mysteries- then this is the show for you . It really grows on you after initial 20 minutes or so . This show has everything such as small town setting, a main character who wants to redeem themselves and reinvent their life after staying at the small town, simple minded honest side characters, no annoying characters at all & above all tge humor is top notch . Some scenes are laugh out loud funny.. The romance plotline hasn't quite yet build up as I'm just on 4th episode but i do hope there's a cute romance arc in next episodes . Can't wait for next episodes !

I enjoyed this show, it has a good amount of humour and the whodunnit part of the story will have suspecting everyone, many times over.
The characters are good, believable enough that some you like, some you don't and others you keep changing your mind about because you're not quite sure if they're good or bad.
Quite why the last episode veers off is anyones guess, its like they finished and someone said, "hold up! We have another 35 minutes to fill" and what would have been an 8/8.5 has to settle for a 7 because it was just far too much of a let down, the slow whimper of an end that no one deserved.

I absolutely loved this series! I am a huge K-drama fan, and in fact that is mostly what I watch. This had so many great elements - fantasy/supernatural, comedy, drama, family friendship, a great "whodunit", and even a very subtle romance, which was great and a nice break from the other romance k-dramas.
Han Ji-min was just great in her role at Ye-bun, and Lee Min-ki plays those serious guy roles so well, (loved him in Because This is My First Life, and now a huge fan of his!) Others were great, too, especially Joo Min-Kyung as Ok-hui - we all need a fierce friend like her! And the ending was perfect. In fact, it sort of left it open for a 2nd season, but I know k-dramas rarely do more than one season, sadly.

The show had a very goofy premise. Very goofy and weird characters and interactions. A dark plot. Set in a strange, small town. The characters lacked chemistry. It was kind of interesting. If you're goofy and not too serious but like dark plots it's okay. The show didn't blend well somehow. It's a hard mix to make. In the middle of the series, it dragged and was boring a bit. But, it did kick off and get more interesting eventually. Being goofy, very serious and dark things happened but the town didn't have the appropriate reaction. It wasn't realistic.
It was kind of enjoyable but not as much as other really good shows I saw. And it really dragged in some parts in the middle and it was too weird and silly in some ways and too dark in other ways.

Another Netflix bait-and-switch. The preview picture has her touching a chicken and the description leads you to believe this will be a small town funny crime solver involving wacky scenarios with animals.
Instead, you get a dark, disturbing, not funny at all, horror/murder crime spree movie that is only stretchable to 16 episodes because of the ineptitude of the characters...and the unbelievably stupid situations the writers place the town in.
1. In a country where ONE murder makes national headlines, TWO would be a call for mobilization. THREE and you'd have the Army on the streets. NINE?... you get women walking home alone at night, no enhanced or increased CCTV, and nary an additional policeman in sight, let alone the military.
2. Characters that see more death than soldiers in war who get PTSD, and are often chased by the killer, yet a day later they are fully functional and back to their old self.
3. A culprit that could be seen a mile away (even before the abysmal 15th episode) so the writers go through stupid and thinly veiled attempts to try and place blame on others. Only a simpleton couldn't see the end.
4. Criminals dictating the "rules" to the police while in custody. A trope so overused that you take a bathroom break once the inevitable interrogation room monologue starts...because you know already what will go down.
5. Evidence? Schmevidence! We can't have any for the entire show, it would be inconvenient. Only to have a convenient audio recording wrap it all up neatly. Lazy lazy LAZY writing.
6. And I said it before, but it bears repeating... characters who wander around and go about their merry lives even though close to double digit murders have occurred in a few months.
Truly an awful setup and execution to a show people will watch thinking it is a veterinarian version of Nancy Drew.
Instead...they get Saw.

This is one of my best Korean series by far and believe me I have watched many.
It was so unexpected. I started out to give it a try but it caught me at every step of the way. I fell in love with the characters and the story line. I didn't want it to end. The last scene just made me anticipate a new season to see our two main characters develop their amazing bond. I got attached to almost all the characters. Well done guys, I really enjoyed this Kdrama.
Aside the detective and the doctor, the other character that I had to follow to understand his development was Mr Kim ( The second male lead)

Made it to episode 9 so far, it's so engaging and the plot is simple but keeps you guessing, I challenge people who think most shows are predictable to give this a go, you will not find this boring. The balance of comedy and murder mystery is incredible!
The cast is new to me but adorable, the dynamic between the leads is so cute. Unlike some kdramas each character has a unique and well developed back story. So far, little to no plot holes. The supernatural elements are believable and a breath of fresh air as this concept is something I have not seen before.
Overall cinematography and costumes are refreshing as it is not overkill but is aesthetic Ye buns costumes are so cute!! The detectives costumes are realistic and compliment him nicely.
The 55 51 arc as some call it will make you die of laughter.

Han Ji-min plays Bong Ye Bun a vet whose mother died when she was young and is bought up by her auntie in a quiet village. Lee Min Ki plays Jang Yeol who is a policeman transferred to the same village from Seoul after messing up a case. Whilst she is out dealing with a cow for a local farmer a meteor strikes and suddenly she is able to see what animals and humans have experienced but only if she touches their butt. The police officer initially thinks she is crazy but soon enlists her help to solve crimes. It is an interesting idea which is well acted with some great side characters. The reason why I only gave it a seven is that the comedic parts are funny and the grisly parts are gruesome but in my opinion there needed to be less comedy or less gore as the two genres do not marry well.

I'm a fan of k dramas, mystery, murder, fantasy or cliche rom com, you name it. This is one drama that has me fully invested(enough to write my first imdb review) and hate that only 2 episodes are out per week. Only other drama which I found this interesting is alchemy of souls but for different reasons. This drama is cute and funny. Some dramas get frustrating as secret is revealed in only 10th episode or so and noone has any idea till then. And too confusing. For this, timing of everything is perfect, plot is good, tension and excitement is just perfect, both hero and heroine are connected to real life( not overly saint or macho), we can imagine this happening in real life if psychometric powers existed.
I hope they don't finish this off in one episode just for finishing it like some dramas; when its climax, they stuff too much info in one episode and not give a proper climax.
Every episode of this drama is perfect till now, no lag, no unnecessary suspense, no over dramatic scenes. Hope this runs its course and finishes at proper pace with a splendid climax. This deserves 10 star in imdb ratings, such a fun watch and entertaining.

I kept on skipping this series because of the not-so-great average rating. I finally decided to give this a try when I was running out of options and boy, was I suprised! I found myself binging the series and watching it in 2 days.
What I liked:
Where the show could have done better:
This reminds me of Magnum PI, Columbo and all those American detective series with humor. My hours were not wasted on this one.
What I liked:
- Humor. Some might find the humor corny, but I found it laugh out loud funny. I did not expect Lee Min Ki to be able to carry of comedic moments. His timing was perfect. And the chemistry among the cast was evident - I doubt the humor could have been pulled off if the cast did not gel well.
- The whodunit. During the first few episodes I was concerned that the story line would remain flat and un-exciting - until the serial killing began. Until the end I was left guessing who it was. The way the story unfolded to reveal the perpetrator was plausible enough.
- The cast. I enjoyed every one of them. Great acting, good comedic timing. Wonderful chemistry.
Where the show could have done better:
- A tighter and clearer reveal of the motive behind the serial killings. It was relegated to a hunch, and eventually a one-line confirmation.
- The ending. While I like that it ended happily and still with humor, the whole correctional facility scene felt off, if not unnecessary.

If a movie wants to be a mix of comedy, suspense, and romantic at the same time, it better mixes them well or otherwise it will turn out bland, in almost every way. In my opinion, this is one of wrong-mixed series. It is not too bad to watch if you don't have anything else to watch and nothing to do, but I have a long list, and this film didn't grab my attention firm enough.
First, it takes too long for anything to happen. It takes too long before the vet got her special gift, takes too long before the main male lead (the police officer) appear, and takes too long for them to be in love. So what are there for the audience before all this main plot begins to happen, just unnecessary things like a character of the aunt who, in my opinion, looks annoying and isn't a well-rounded character, some trying-to-be funny moments and too much funny music and cartoon-like effect, but most of the time it wasn't amusing for me.
The good points of this series is that they select the right persons to play the lead. Her look and voice and personality are suitable to be a vet. His look and personality is also suitable as a cop. There are lovely moments about the animal, and the story about the old man and his old dog was very touching and very-well presented.
However, I must conclude that for me this movie is neither funny nor romantic nor very exciting. The story moves too slow and filled with unnecessary stuff. But it's not all that bad if you have time to kill.

I have completed watching all 16 episode. This drama was really good, i enjoyed throughout the whole time. The casting choice was amazing. The actors and their team did a Very good job. It has a good storyline, beautifully executed. It was a comedy suspense thriller drama. You Won't regret it watching. Give it a try 🌸
From starting it felt like a comedy type of series. First few episodes Are truly very entertaining. Then it has e little Unique twist and then the real story begins. This drama did not disappoint me from it's beginning to it's end. That's why i wanted to recommended to u all. ❤
Happy watching.

Set in a small, peaceful town, this drama brings a unique mix of romance, comedy, and mystery. The story follows Bong Ye Bun, a quirky veterinarian who suddenly gains psychometric powers, allowing her to see into people's pasts by touching them. She partners with Moon Jang Yeol, a hot-headed detective demoted to the countryside, to solve local crimes. As they work together, unexpected feelings start to develop between the two. The dynamic between Han Ji Min and Lee Min Ki as the leads is both funny and heartfelt, giving this drama a refreshing twist on the typical crime-solving genre.
What's great about "Behind Your Touch" is that it balances its comedic moments with suspenseful crime-solving. The developing romance between the leads is both charming and slow-burning, which will keep you rooting for them throughout. Plus, the added layer of Bong Ye Bun's unique powers makes this show stand out in the rom-com category.

Personally I really enjoyed this series, i was quite hesitant at first glance of this kdrama but i have it a go, the first couple of episodes weren't as enticing as i'd hoped but as it progressed i found myself on the edge of my seat trying to figure out who the killer was, after i'd suspected one person, another person would get me suspicious. There's also a great portion of humour in here that i found quite comforting, especially ok hui and her sister gang. The ending of the series was enjoyable, as well as the characters, each of them had their own story whether they were likeable or not. To conclude, i'd definitely give this kdrama a shot if i were you!
