This suggested that someone cared enough to redress the body and pose the victim. While the set-up initially reminded me of a demented fairytale, it was very sick and violent instead.

The weekly promo almost suggests the victims were hung from a tree and attacked. That piercing scream haunts me.

In looking back at the career of Oscar winner Matthew McConaughey, many might not remember that in the same year he was breaking out as a romantic lead with How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, he was seen starring in Tiptoes, a bizarre comedy from writer-director Matthew Bright. It’s one you would certainly not expect to see made today — particularly with talent at his level.

McConaughey reminisced about the politically incorrect project, which had future Oscar winner Gary Oldman playing a little person, in conversation with comedians Tom Segura and Bert Kreischer in a recent episode of their podcast 2 Bears, 1 Cave, which saw them play the film’s trailer for the star for the first time.

“Did you know that when people watch the trailer for Tiptoes, they think it’s a sketch?” Segura asks McConaughey in the clip, part of which you can view below.

Brad Pitt returned to Formula 1 over the weekend!

The 60-year-old actor made an appearance at the 2024 Mexico City Grand Prix on Saturday (October 26) in Mexico to film some new scenes for his upcoming F1 movie.

Brad could be seen filming in his full race suit as he got out of his car on the track and seemingly celebrated either podium finishes and/or qualifying placements.

In the photos, he could be seen holding up two fingers and three fingers, and was also seen waving the Mexico flag and blowing kisses to fans at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez.

The next day, Brad was seen in the stands while attending the Formula 1 Mexico City Grand Prix race day, taking photos and/or videos with his phone.

Manga sales in North America have fallen by 14% in 2023, according to data shared during the ICv2 white paper presentation at New York Comic Con (Nycc).

However, despite the decline, manga continues to be the most popular segment in the comics market, surpassing traditional superhero comics.

According to the latest statistics, manga holds a 43% share of the graphic novel and comics content category in 2023, compared to 45% in 2022.

The closest competitor, superhero comics, holds a 15% share, while kids’ comics take the largest slice at 29%. In comparison, author-based graphic novels make up 13% of the market share.

This breakdown aligns with an analysis by ComicsBeat based on BookScan’s sales charts for 2023.

Of the 44.7 million graphic novels sold through BookScan, it was found that nearly 21.8 million copies (49%) were manga, while kids’ comics accounted for approximately 17 million copies (38%).
