Pankaj Tripathi has done a marvelous job and the Producers leave the audience asking for more! Origin of RSS and founding of BJP shown nicely. The film depicts Shri Vajpayeeji had excellent rapport with the Opposition during his tenure as a Politician, witty at Parliament with his poetry, a great Statesman to hear his speeches, people would travel several miles. Very limited role of Smt Indira Gandhis in the film. Speeches at Rama Lila Maidan and at Parliament are shot beautifully. Great acting by Pankaj Tripathi, who is a cool actor and seems to have done his homework. Is there going to be a Part 2?
Pankaj Tripathi shines in ATAL'S character throughout the film and plus with bgm it looks amazing to watch him on the screen.
Talking about the storyline first 15 mins was great as director describes the journey of great Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
From his family to his struggle all was greatly adapted with perfect screenplay and bgm. But when the politics side of the story starts there director has just adapted the one side content of the parties rather than showing both side with dignity.
We can clearly see that director just wanted to show the Atal side of the story and without even describing or showing their side of the story declared the negative side.
Rest of the time dialogues are great, cinematography is good with some old footage make the film more engaged.
All n all definitely one time watch biopic for life of great PM with amazing performance by Pankaj Tripathi and engaging screenplay but if you are going for the facts then this will definitely disappoint because not all matter has been cleared or shown indefinitely....

This is a movie that I would call a "safe" movie and intentionally so. It nicely portrays India's political history of 60-65 years through the lens and life of Atalji, while carefully avoiding any controversial analysis or in-depth commentary. For eg, it'll tell you about Emergency and Rath Yatra, but without taking a firm stance on either. It tells the events almost like an erstwhile Doordarshan reporter would - without any judgment. And this is what makes the movie a "safe" movie.
There is nothing to hate in the movie and nothing in the movie is phenomenal either. The acting is above average - most actors casted in the movie are quite sub-par and one-dimensional - but they all punch above their weight. For eg., in my view Pankaj Tripathi is indeed an incredible talent as a character actor in supporting roles, but he's not the lead actor material who can carry an entire movie through all its depths of emotions and narratives (he even has a short romance sequence as a 20 year old in college - needless to say, it feels very odd to watch!). The actors in the roles of Advani, Sushma, MM Joshi, Mahajan, Atalji's dad, Rajkumari, Indira Gandhi, Kalam etc. Are all believable, but not exceptional and sometimes also caricaturish (esp Kalam!).
The storytelling is fast paced and grippy and it keeps you on your toes. Dialogues and speeches are true to original in many cases, without unnecessary dramatization - giving the movie an authentic feel. Cinematography is decent and takes you back into the scenes from history, although some obvious elements of modern trends are visible (for eg. Meetings with 100s of large BJP flags in the crowd is a more recent phenomenon - hardly anyone had so much money to waste 30-40 years ago). Character arcs are well developed, but sometimes are cutoff abruptly (for eg Atalji's family, Arun Jaitley). Songs are not fun!
Overall the movie is "safe" - if you have nothing better to do, and no other better choice, watch this movie. You may or may not go and recommend it in your whatsapp groups later, but you'll definitely not regret it and it might actually be time well spent. In fact, more likely than not, you'll probably also enjoy it!

This movie deserves all the attention and respect coming it's way. Stellar acting by Pankaj Tripathi, great screenplay moulded from the life of our former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee makes for an excellent cinematic experience. This movie emphatically displays the importance of perseverance, knowledge, courage and calmness of a great man in poetic (pun intended) fashion.
This movie showcases important events of our country through the lens of important men and women responsible in building this great nation and Atal ji's immense contribution to it. It's important to celebrate great leaders of our country to motivate the people of our country into action. And this movie executes that to perfection.

Amazing performance by Pankaj Tripathi as usual tried to imitate Vajpayee Ji perfectly but feels more could be done to make it further natural but can't complain as i could really connect with the character.
Love it every bit, movie moves at a decent pace doesn't feel dull at all. Many scenes gives you goosebumps.
What I could have liked more?
1. Deeper research into Vajpayee Ji's life, what is depicted is already known to the public. I finished movie with a craving to know more about him which remained unsatisfied.
2. Few instances of his life could have been elaborated further to leave a lasting impact on audience specially new generation to allow them to connect with his persona.
3. His political career spanned half a century and 2 hour movie can't do justice to his contributions.
4. Movie may be was not promoted well to create awareness.
5. It could have been an inspiration for new generation to connect and look for political landscape as aspiring field to serve nation. This was missed due to missing connect with generation who has not seen him action.
Overall liked it but thrust to know him better remained!!

Main Atal Hoon arises as a realistic victory, a piercing and splendidly created biopic that dives into the phenomenal existence of quite possibly of the most loved figure in current history. Coordinated with artfulness and responsiveness, this film rises above the limits of a customary personal story, offering a close and convincing depiction of Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the magnetic and visionary pioneer who made a permanent imprint on the political scene of India.
The film opens with a charming look into Vajpayee's young life, giving a rich setting to the one who might proceed to become one of the country's most notable pioneers. From his initial battles to his ascent in governmental issues, the screenplay masterfully explores the different periods of Vajpayee's life, winding around together a consistent story that catches both the individual and political components of his excursion.
What genuinely sets "Main Atal Hoon" separated is its obligation to validness. The projecting is out and out excellent, with the lead entertainer conveying a nuanced and persuading execution that catches the embodiment of Vajpayee's magnetism, mind, and diplomacy. The careful scrupulousness in reproducing verifiable occasions, combined with a heavenly supporting cast, adds layers of authenticity to the film.
The screenplay amazingly balances the epic and the close, permitting the crowd to observe the awesome minutes in Vajpayee's profession while likewise giving understanding into the man behind the public persona. The exchange is sharp and resounding, repeating the expert articulation for which Vajpayee was prestigious. The film skillfully investigates the intricacies of his political belief system, his part in molding India's international strategy, and the difficulties he looked during his residency as the Top state leader.
Outwardly, "Main Atal Hoon" is a treat for cinephiles. The cinematography catches the glory of political conventions, the peaceful snapshots of reflection, and the close to home ups and downs of Vajpayee's life. The chief's sharp eye for detail guarantees that each casing isn't just tastefully satisfying yet in addition fills a story need.
Thanks to entire movie team for this biopic!!

The movie attempts to showcase the colorful life of Atal Bihari Vajpayee, but it doesn't delve deep enough. Pankaj Tripathi does an excellent job, even though the writing and production could be better. Despite the flaws, Pankaj Tripathi brings out the charm of Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee and gives us a peek into his personal life.
Director Ravi Jadhav keeps it on the surface, missing the details of his political journey and beliefs. The film offers a glimpse into his personal life but doesn't explore the balance between his poetic side and political mind.
If you have a keen interest in politics and are a BJP supporter, you might wish the movie delved more into Vajpayee ji's relationships and party dynamics. Still, it's a good revision, showcasing moments where he, as the opposition leader, stands strong. Despite its flaws, "Main Atal Hoon" is a decent tribute, giving us a look into a time when ideas weren't so rigid. It might not meet all expectations, but it's worth a watch for those curious about Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee's lasting impact. I'd rate it 10/10 for trying to capture the spirit of this charismatic leader.

Well pictured! Can feel the struggle of right against wrong!! Not everyone can make zero to hero!!! Where a few, can break the record with team effort!!!!
That is Atal!!!!
Khudoos Atal ji.... Khudoos to your manifest, and the motto u and ur team kept to save this nation to get freedom from evil...
English subtitles (add-on) would help non-hindi watchers to know the effort you kept for this movie to know the facts once happened to the present generation..!
This is not just a biopic.. much more than that... Shows the effort to save the Hindu religion and it's culture, tradition to pass to the next generations.. I felt, If atal ji and his team won't be there, still we will be in a situation, where we struggle to get freedom from corrupted govt, where freedom is just for a name, not applicable when it comes to reality... Thanks a lot!

A must watch for every Indian . A leader who stood firmly for Nation first policy. Shraddey Atal bihari Vajpayee who seems to be soft natured leader but shown to the world through his work like Pokran ,Kargil Victory that he is a powerful leader too .
The movie's storytelling keeps me hooked, providing a captivating journey through the life of my all time favorite Indian politician.
Pankaj Tripathi's portrayal brings authenticity to the character, making it a convincing and true-to-life representation. Director very well portrayed the great nationalist through this movie.
From Janasangh to BJP - Atal and LK Advani ji journey and their sacrifices touches the hearts of true Indians. All other supporting characters like LK Advani,DD upadhyay,SP Mukarji performance gave justice and contributed to the film's overall impact.
Portray of Atalji's speach in parliament after losing vote of confidence evokes viewers emotions.
Thanks to entire crew and cast of #meinatalhoon for such a wonderful biopic on a great leader of Bharat.

Atal Bihari spent his childhood in Gwalior not in bateshwar. Their grandparents moved to Morena from Bateshwar long before Vajpayee's birth.
He first joined Arya Samaj, Gorkhi, Gwalior and later RSS in Gwalior itself, which makers deliberately skipped.
This biopic does not show how Mr. Vajpayee got funds to establish bjp.
This biopic seems to alter the facts to please certain people and class.
Mr. Vajpayee family still lives in Gwalior and his nephew Mr. Anup Mishra is a MLA from Morena.
Biopic does not show how many times he was elected as an MP.
This biopic is factually incorrect and misleading.

This movie is differently made. You will feel that you seeing the life of your most beloved leader who has no haters. Pankaj tripathi nailed it, it is such an extra ordinary acting that is pure 10 out of 10.
The movie is not boring at all, it is a relaxing treat - the screenplay is spellbound and the narrative was good. Yes, at the end you will think that I want more of it.
Its clearly showcasing how a true patriot who sacrificed life for the nation do differently than ordinary minister. In flashes it refresh your deep down memory, projected in pleasant way. His style of leadership, to connect to people to win heart of then nation is mind blowing.
Whatever hundreds of motivation video can't do. This one movie can do.
Also don't think its yet another biography. The national award winning director brought to you hidden gem from the history which writes what India is today.
Lastly its not at all propaganda movie. It even don't show Modi ji. It showcased that how to be a, true leader which is loved by all. Lal ji acting is too good.

Our Indian Nationalist Hero Shri Atal Bihari ji is truly Bharat Ratna.
Well made and beautifully portrayed.
I love to watch Pankaj Tripathi, he's acting skill is very natural, classic and fabulous. In between sometime I felt seeing him as original Atalji.
I would like to thanks director for making this true biopic movie.
I wasn't knowing many facts about our political history, After watching the movie I did started to read about our all Prime Ministers. Specifically I read about Shri Atal ji's political journy.
Everyone must watch this movie and especially youth must have to watch and know about our national and political history.

Real history!
Though lots of events have not been shown but still gave enough to have a good chronological sense.
Acting was awesome, story obviously was awesome as it is just history, direction made it come alive but many events wasn't covered properly.
There is scope of Part 2.
Not for those who are looking for entertaining thriller but for those who can appreciate a great storyline. Pankaj Tripathi wonderfully portrayed how to be a great orator. Other castings are average but they do not have much of a role anyway. Cinematography and lighting made it nearly a masterpiece. Great movie.....

Before going into movie aspects, I would like to go for story.
Comment:
This movie worth your time and money. If you are into History and political drama, This movie will entertain you as well as spark a thought for Bharat (India). Definetly go for this movie. Even I took long time to watch it but now I'm so impressed that I'm writing a review.
There are many people giving it 2/10 or less because they see nothing but a political party ie BJP and a leader who made it so huge that, It's rulling Bharat (India) since 2014 and hopefully go for another fine next 5 years. If you go through their review or rating, you'll find the hate they have been shown for movies like Taskent File, Article 370, The Accidental Prime Minister, Kerala Files, Vaccine War etc.
Review:
Story is based on life of formar PM "Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee" but mainly focused on His Life Style, His Straggle, His Vision and Works and Major Events in Bharat which he faced or dealt.
So, For me it's an fine craft to touch his life aspacts and showed his personality that what made him this great and worthy of highest civilian honour. Plot and Screenplay deserves a solid 9/10.
Rating:
Acting - 8/10 (overall everyone did a good job.)
Direction- 7/10 (It was impressive but simple. )
Songs and BGM- 8/10 (songs will be remembered for a long time as It's sentimental.)
Cinematography or post production - regarding the budget and box office that such type of movie are making, 8/10. Satisfactory not impressive.
Story - 9/10. Highly impressive.
Over all 8/10.
Conclusion:
This movie has been one of finest biography I have ever seen. Either It can be my interest towards Bharat and It's history or my appriciation for them who comes for noting and make themselves high enough to reach moon. Whatever It is I really loved this movie, and you should definitely go for it.
In any worse condition, view or perception It's impossible to give it lesser than 6/10. Hence It really worth time and money.

Now I seriously feels, sandsep Singh producer intentionally making mediocre movies based on bjp leaders..first on modi ji & now on Atal Bihari ji..its not like he can't make good movies but he is making sure to make not best of movies on 1 party leaders.the party itself keep on promoting wrong people specially from Bollywood who keep on stabbing them.this movie could have masterpiece but was made with wrong characterization, camera work & bgm.nothing was likable, specially after spoiling movie on modi ji, sandeep Singh the shady character shouldn't be allowed to make another disaster of the legend..

What a film . Just came back from the theatre and I am still in awe. I am glad the story tellers covered the entire life of Atal right from his youth days. The focus was more on early life of Atal and that is a very good decision by the makers because everyone knows a lot about later part of his life. But his early life has so many interesting anecdotes. We see Atal traverse through so many hardships and ultimately become the stateman we all know. The editing is top notch and you won't feel bored at any point. I feel a few of the scenes do not leave the desired impact and were rushed, especially in the second half. Could have been a little better in my opinion.

The movie portrays the important events of our country through the lens of the important men and women responsible for building this great nation and has Atal Ji's invaluable contribution. Pankaj Tripathi has played the life of Atal Bihari Vajpayee well. Except Pankaj Tripathi no actor can play this role well, Pankaj is an excellent choice. Supporting actors like Pramod Pathak, Raja Rameshkumar Sevak and Daya Shankar Pandey also make the movie better with their good performances.
Speeches at Ramlila Maidan and in Parliament are beautifully shot. The origin of the RSS and the founding of the BJP are nicely depicted. The screenplay is inadequate to understand the crucial episodes of Vajpayee's remarkable life and career milestones. The film shows how to be a true leader who is loved by all.

"Main Atal Hoon," inspired by Sarang Darshane's book 'Atalji: Kavihridayachye Rashtranetyachi Charitkahani,' attempts to capture the essence of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee's life. While Rishi Virmani and Ravi Jadhav's story presents a potentially great biopic, the film falls short of its promise. The film fails to capture the depth and resonance required for an impactful biopic. The dialogues, although sharp, lacks the intended impact.
Pankaj Tripathi delivers one of his best performances, truly embodying the character of Atal Bihari Vajpayee. However, his stellar portrayal is overshadowed by the flaws in the script and its execution. Supporting actors like Pramod Pathak, Raja Rameshkumar Sevak, and Daya Shankar Pandey deliver decent performances.
Ravi Jadhav's direction is commendable in parts, with a few standout scenes, but the film struggles due to its attempt to cover too many life episodes in a disjointed manner. The constant jumping from one incident to another leaves many sequences unimpressive, either due to inadequate explanation or rushed depiction. The screenplay fails to delve into crucial episodes of Vajpayee's remarkable life and career milestones. This lack of depth prevents the audience from forming a meaningful connection with the film.
Main Atal Hoon Movie Rating Direction 2.5/5 Acting 3/5 Editing 2/5 Story 2.5/5 Screenplay 1.5/5.

The movie Main Atal Hoon, is a simple story line on a Indian political leader and former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The screenplay of the movie keep you engage as it perform the timeline from childhood till the battle won in kargil. It's a perfect drama movie on politics. It's make more effective and attractive by The acting performance of Sir. Pankaj Tripathi and with many other actors. The morals of Atal Bihari Vajpayee that him followed in his live make you think a bit worth to watch this movie. With some good poetic lines, effective dialogues, impactful performance and good direction lead this movie to give a watch.

It starts with a cringe opening scene with Pankaj Tripathi's over acting and unnecessary dialogues. In the whole movie, you'll wait when he will starts talking normal, but he doesn't. It has unnecessary songs and focus on less important things in his life than his political career.
Its colour, cinematography and sets are good and takes you to the time when movie is set but the music and songs are totally off from the movies theme. It misses the important events that should have been included and didn't do justice to the scenes that are in the movie.
JP Yadav is Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, so at one point it gives you Mirzapur vibes. It is a propaganda movie but fails there too. Go to theaters if you follow politics, want to refill your soft drink and popcorn many times and bring in person with opposing view so you can argue during the movie.

Amazing performance by Pankaj Tripathi
But missed opportunity by the Creators of the movie: Should have extended the movie by 20 minutes to show the exemplary work done by Atalji during his tenure as PM instead of just mentioning it during the end credits.
The performances of coactors is good and have inacted the cabinet members quite well.
But overall the movie was lacking details and procedures and creators have missed to incorporate minute details from 1992, 1999 to 2004 and 2005.
I was really sad to see that writer or director edited or removed Atalji's life details and impact of his policies and political will on India post 90s just to make movie fit within 2 hours and a few minutes.

People are debating on , the movie was released before election and all this is a propaganda by bjp etc I think these type of tricks are done by every single party and yes Congress done done these type of things in very dark way on which I am not able to talk on this platform but you know what I mean to say they always feel country is secular if one specific group is feeling safe and at the same type other are not it's okay for them , and yes these type of movie are inspiration for us so there is nothing wrong we are getting to know more about our Hero , so I think if you are talking like why you hey make these movies before election is totally wrong becz they are doing or using this trick in good way.

A mass sterilization campaign took place in India at the height of "The Emergency" in 1976, during which 6.2 million men underwent vasectomies to limit population growth.
Its by Congress party lead by Indira Gandhi. Now in 2024 we saw minority population grow exponential. Was these minority not involved getting mass sterilisation??. Was that attempt to securing Vote bank??
How these minority excluded ??
Some historic truth should come in light... must re-watch ...
