Protagonist inherits a huge amount of money & a mansion, but doesn't get any security despite multiple break-ins & threatening messages & sabotage that could have burned down the house & killed them?!?
The house is HUGE & remarkable in that it has stairs all the way down to the street & there's a real ADT security sign in the side yard.
Neighbors are a bunch of snobs that no one with any self esteem would put up with. Seriously they're so stuck up it's cartoonish. I have to wonder what the actors thought about this.
On the positive side, the actors are all beautiful & their costumes are equally stunning.

This was another movie with none of the characters being remotey likeable. The main protagonist. Molly was annoyingly irresponsive to all the verbal abuse and humiliation she kept getting. Charlie the husband was just a walking talking prop, very insignificant. Heather the daughter was annoying, dumb and rebellious. Finn was ok because he was only a kid.
The rest of the cast were annoying. The crazy ex fiance. Daria and her shady punk son Brian who was impish and rude to Molly. Frankly I don't know what Heather saw in him.
The script was probably written by real life dumb and dumber. The flashback segement towards the end alongside with the stupid background music (sounded like they had stolen it from Saw) was seriously pointless and far too long.
Frankly contrary to other contributors I do not believe there is going to be a sequel. We heard Molly clearly saying we're gonna be alright. Which to me means they're going to stay and ride the storm out and not let the stuck up snooty community force them out.
If you haven't seen this yet, you won't miss much by not watching it.

Theres this woman called molly. Shes living with her husband an two kids and they are tired of having to relocate everytime the bad people come to chuck them out. One day she learns of her fathers passing, a man that she dosnt really know and for some reason has left everything to her. This includes a not to shabby looking mansion. The people in this town are snobby and are probably jelous of this families luck in moving there. But thats not all of course somebody wants the family gone and there a mysterious ex fiancee of the fathers sniffing around. Acting was not great and the film was predicatble ok watch but aside from the plot being intriging there was not much else.

Photographer Molly inherits her estranged father's large house. Together with her family, she moves into the house, which is located in an expensive neighborhood. Molly and her family try to fit in with the neighborhood's lavish lifestyle. Which is an arduous task for them, especially with snooty neighbours who wanted the house Molly lives in. Then there is a sudden break-in and a menacing warning message written on the wall as well as a death of a lawyer who was about to tell Molly something important about his murder. Who wants Molly and her family gone?
Slow moving, yet not a bad thriller that touches upon class snobbery as well as delivering a thriller-whodunnit element. The lead actress who plays Molly is competent, however her husband is a bit of a plank in terms of reacting to the escalating troubles occurring.
