When Michael hears Lisa's voice for the first time, he dresses up in a hurry and does not put on any underwear. Later, when he goes back to his room and takes his pants off, he's wearing boxers.

When Michael is checking into the hotel, the receptionist hands him his hotel key card and Michael places it into his back pocket. But when the bellboy shows Michael to his room, the bellboy has the key card in his back pocket now.

Michael is shown with his bag walking out of the lower terminal (arrival) doors to catch a taxi. However, when he walks up to the taxi, he is shown to be coming out of the upper terminal (departure) doors.

There are numerous blue lights shown on top of the buildings on the Cincinnati airport property. Obstruction lights on structures near airports are required to be red. Only taxiway edge lights are blue in an airport environment.

A full moon cannot be followed through the dawn sky by the sun, since when seen 'near' together it would be a new moon (only visible as a black disc during an eclipse). A full moon is always opposite in the sky from the sun which illuminates it.

When Michael is shown in front of Dino's toys, there is a parking meter shown to be about five feet from a fire hydrant in front of the store. In Cincinnati, the minimum distance that you can legally park from a hydrant is ten feet. The meter, which demarcates where the front of the vehicle can park, would never be located within this distance.

This movie takes place in 2005, prior to the Ohio smoking ban that went into effect in late 2006. Smoking would have been allowed in the hotel.

When Lisa is explaining their drive down from Akron said, "The 71, pretty much went straight to Cincinnati.": it is a preface uncommon to Ohioans, although it is common in nearby western New York, and has bled somewhat into northeast Ohio, it is much more likely that someone from northeast Ohio would have said "I-71" as opposed to "The 71".

Lisa says that pandas are not really bears. While this was commonly believed in the 20th century (due to their raccoon-like qualities and un-ursine eating habits), giant pandas were confirmed by DNA testing in the 1980s to be within the bear family.
