We laughed way too much during Ayalvaashi that we almost choked! It was a blast of laughter from beginning to end.
DELICIOUS
-We never expected Ayalvaashi to be this comical. From the acting to the props on set, everything was making us burst into laughter, Kudos to Shoubin Shahir, Binu Papu and Gokulan who held the ship together. Their serious facial expressions while delivering the most hilarious lines, oh goodness😂
-The score was very funky, making fun of Thaju's predicament and the big mess he found himself. It elevated the fun atmosphere of the film
-Ayalvaashi reminded us how wedding preparations can cause a lot of financial strain on low-income families whether we looked at it from Thaju's side or his sister-in-law's
And Thaju and Benny's misunderstanding just needed a proper and clear communication!
-A clapping ovation for Sajith Purushan as he carefully studied the goal of every scene and flawlessly conveyed the actions & reactions through a variety of camera angles and movements. You could tell he was intentional about how all the shots will tie together into one, consistent piece
BLAND
-We never got to see the scratch done on the scooter though it was the root of all problems; wonder if it was done on purpose to stress that it was just a minor accident that should have been overlooked?
-There was a big cast on set and regrettably they weren't smoothly introduced, halfway through the film, we were still wondering who was who. Benny's father, for instance, only got introduced towards the end and it was a bit too late.
