I was disappointed to see this movie do as most others do in leaving out the one true God and any glory being given to Jesus Christ and God. Scenes where true Christians would ask Jesus for help were replaced with people seeming to pray to deceased grandfather and giving healing glory to him too. A hospital scene had a blind man healed by a gifted girl crying and asking the girl's parents to "believe in the girl". Not God. The girl. It was like Jesus and God were hidden from any part of the movie. Even the very last scene had the gifted girl whispering in her grandmother's ear on who helped her in a brief visit to heaven. Like "Jesus" could not be implied or mentioned. NO GLORY to God. This fear of showing belief in Jesus Christ and true faith is growing in the world and the U.S. rapidly, and in real life. Disappointed to see it in what could have been great movie.

I really tried to like this movie. The beginning starts out okay, but long and lots of filler music, to show the plot was thin. I guess the reason Carpenter and Cain acted in this must be they needed the money.
It is some kind of religious theme but I'm not sure what it compares to.
It just sad. They show a lot of panning around scenery with music, the problem is it's dead looking and not appealing. Maybe that was their intention.
They try to include some make shift 'effects' but it consisted of white screen and let your imagination do the work.
They insult the local population and show them as extremely stupid.
It was all I could do to watch the entire movie.

I think reviews should be based on the content of the movies, not a person's personal beliefs. Majority of people know and have their own opinions of what Angels are, so why bring in the "biblical" references to this or any other spiritual movie. We all have our own Spiritual/Religious views and if they differ from someone else - so be it. Enjoy the movie - I personally loved it for light entertainment, a far cry from the over produced Violent/catastrophe end of days type movie. The players were run of mill with the acting and seemed to keep to the storyline. Whatever your interpretation of the afterlife is - this is a movie most are going to enjoy.

I was very disappointed to see a pagan ritual introduced. Transference of sickness to the healer is not biblical. When did Jesus become sick because he healed some one.
What takes place in the movie is more witchcraft or new age energy healing nonsense.

This should not be shown on Pure Flix. It is not pure. It is only a flick. This is the worst kind of movie to share on Pure Flix. It takes the gifts that only come from God and portrays that they come from some dead grandfather. Remove this film from Pure Flix and then destroy it.

I liked the characters and acting. The movie caused me to reflect on my own beliefs. I liked putting my own interpretation on the events of the movie. It didn't take long to see that the setting was in Utah. i grew up there and love the scenery and the culture of the area. I related to the grandmother the most. The family values and feelings of closeness and caring in the family were inspiring to me. I could see the reflection of many biblical teachings in the script of the movie. Some themes that stood out most were: "what greater love can be shown than when one gives up their own life for a friend." "Unconditional love overcomes many problems." Forgiveness and repentance are basic principles of Christ like living. "Faith precedes the Miracle."
The only positive in this movie is the cinematography and the acting by Charisma and Dean. The story line is ridiculous. The depiction of her getting healing powers and the grandmothers so called "faith" is more pagan than christian
This movie is more science fiction than faith based or inspirational. Unfortunately I didn't think it would be appropriate for me to write a review unless I watched the whole movie. Being a bible student for 52 years this was excruciating to watch.
This movie was so bad that I felt sorry for Dean Cain and Chrisma Carpenter for having a part in this movie.
The grandmother was a joke. She was irritated with her husband for dying. No sorrow for his passing at all. I know everyone grieves in different ways but she didn't seem to grieve at all.
I could go on and on but then this review would be as bad as the movie.

This is a dangerous movie and should not be on pure flix. There is only One healer, and His Name is Jesus. She does not heal in Jesus Name. Any other healing by any other way is not from God and opens you up to witchcraft.

Unexpectedly wonderful. At first you're not sure where it's going or what to thing. In the end, it's worth the wait! It develops in unique ways; some expected-some not.

Has a bit of a slow start, that's why I gave it an 8. Otherwise the movie is very good and I would recommend it to anyone. Definitely worth watching. Definitely has me interested in watching more movies similar to this one. Would have given it a 10 if it wasn't for the slow start to the movie.
