Escaping an unsavory past, Sadie arrives in Los Angeles, reinventing herself as the successful socialite that she's always dreamed of being. She starts dating wealthy, handsome nightclub owner Owen, and also befriends Jessica, a fun, slightly reckless daughter of a Vegas tycoon. Her new life takes a turn, though, when she invites a group of clubbers to Owen's place when he is out of town - under the guise that she owns it. The night of debauchery ramps up and, in the morning, Sadie awakens to Jessica in her face asking for help to get rid of a body. Panicking, Sadie does to cover her own tracks. But now the two of them are bonded by their grim decision. Fleeing again would mean leaving behind luxury... and Owen. Plus, with Jessica being an extreme wild card, Sadie is forced to stay in their dangerous relationship. With their dark secret and Jessica's increasing iniquity spinning their world, even Owen is drawn into the fray. And Sadie finds she's not only dealing with Jessica and the consequences of their actions, but she also must face her real self.

You've Gotta Learn From Your Mistakes, Sadie

There is a perfect description of Sadie Williams by another character in &quot;A Party to Die For&quot;: Sadie is a &quot;liar, poser, and desperate wannabe.&quot; After her cousin Briana gives Sadie a wonderful opportunity to work in a chic New Jersey boutique, Sadie abuses the trust placed in her and runs up over $10,000 on Briana&#39;s tab. In addition to being a pathological liar, Sadie is gullible in allowing Jessica Davis to take over her life and lead her into a world of crime. The character of Jessica was not so much a study in evil, but rather a cardboard cut-out of a villain. Her reaction to the death of poor Justin Caruso was sadistic and was made even more unappealing when she was enjoying her breakfast with his dead body in the room. This film included some of the most preposterous scenes imaginable in character development and narrative. It was a stretch to believe that the police would enlist Sadie in a sting operation. Sadie&#39;s stabbing of the kind Owen Hunt was not only a shocking moment, but also an unconvincing one when he simply shrugged off his wound as he was being carted into an ambulance. Sadie&#39;s father, Greg Williams, was a career criminal with a rap sheet a mile long. In another far-fetched moment, we learn that she learned from her dad how to inflict a &quot;non-fatal&quot; wound with a knife. Greg may have taught his daughter well. But the closing scene gave no genuine appearance that Sadie had learned anything from her many mistakes.

A Party to Die For

2022 thriller movie. The movie isn&#39;t horror, even though the name pops up in horror genre searches. A simple thriller. It&#39;s a cheap movie made for television. For this reason, a filterless camera was used. The colors are vibrant and blinding. The subject is one of the topics that has been done dozens of times before. A teenage girl whose job is to lie about herself and petty theft hides her truth by telling lies to those she meets. Later, he meets a woman and becomes close friends. But the woman turns out to be an obsessed maniac. In the movie, we learn how tolerant the American police are. Being an accomplice or hiding the crime is easily forgiven. There is no sex or nudity in the movie.

The film opens with the boring teaser of two girls dressed up with masks struggling to place a body in a dumpster. We then go to Sadie (Jonetta Kaiser) a North Carolina girl working for her cousin Briana (Madia Hill Scott) in an upscale clothing boutique for minimum wage. She tries on a $2500 dress and gets asked out by the wealthy Owen (Jermaine Rivers) a man who knows designer clothes and is not gay. Later she meets Jessica in the store and is invited to a party where she keeps up her facade. We soon circle round to the opening teaser. The film is &quot;inspired&quot; by true events which generally means someone killed someone and dumped the body. The plot dragged. It had some wholes that could have easily been filled had I stayed awake during the hole thing. Guide: No swearing, sex, or nudity.

Sadie (Jonetta Kaiser) is trying to get her life together after a brush with the cops. Working in her cousin&#39;s clothing store, she dreams of a better and much richer life, which is why she finds spending time with Owen (Jermaine Rivers) and Jessica (Kara Royster) so incredible. Owen trusts Sadie so much that he allows her to stay at his house. Trying to pretend she&#39;s rich, she invites Jessica and a crew of partygoers over, but that night, she watches Jessica kill someone and then helps her hide the body. Sadie gets in way over her head and then has to deal with a detective named Jessica (Kara Royster) trying to get to the bottom of everything. Now Sadie is caught between her former best friend and perhaps going back to jail. And do you really think the cops are going to believe her? Director and writer Nanea Miyata has made the kind of movie that you once had to watch on Lifetime, but now Tubi has you covered. Look, some free advice, but if you wake up to someone cooking breakfast mere inches from a corpse, don&#39;t help the killer or let them blackmail you. Just run.
