Nearing to the end of the training program the recruits look for reasons on why they decided to join the police force.

Due to shortage of officers in the Navajo Police Department they welcomes a new class of 28 recruits for their rigorous 28-week training program.

The officers are forced to discuss the topic of lack of employment opportunities and challenges facing young adults in the Navajo Nation as recruits begin to drop out of the program.
