The Decoupling between Deniz and Sahra was magnificent. The characters were combined with the full script. But the script was very simple. They did a very classic job. They used an ancient city like Assos as a filming location. It was really perfect. But as I said, the script could have been written better. A classic romantic/drama film has appeared. Grandmothers were very sweet. I was very amused by his novice attitude. In addition, the side characters also added a separate atmosphere to the film. Their support for the story was quite great. In short, I knew how the events would end during the process of watching the film. It turned out to be an easy job to guess. However, Ana, this did not prevent me from enjoying the movie while watching. The camera angles were very nice.

The meddling grandmothers of Sahra and Deniz have decided enough is enough. Their two grandchildren were the best of friends growing up, until one summer when it seems that they could have been more, and afterwards it's clear to everyone that they are avoiding one another. Sahra has a rival at work and is desperate to get an exclusive interview with a reluctant and reclusive photographer. Coincidentally and unbeknownst to Sahra, Deniz is the reclusive photographer she is desperate to interview. The meddling grandmother's bring the two to their neighboring homes at the same time to attempt to get them talking again...and ultimately nature takes its course.
Ekin Koc, who plays Deniz, really makes this movie for me. His character is very romantic and how he shares his continued love for Sahra just squeezed my heart. Absolutely gorgeous seaside backdrop for this romance and Ayça Aysin Turan who plays Sahra is lovely.
I think fans of romance will enjoy this story and it is a recommendation to those romantics who are ok watching a film in Turkish.

Turkish cinematology is on the rise and Netflix's new movie Make Me Believe - filmed in the beautiful northwestern Turkey is the perfect romantic Friday night movie.
Sahra and Deniz used to be childhood friends, hanging out at their grandma's house but now years later they meet again and they despise each other. Their meddling grannies try all sort of tricks to bring the two together. Will they succeed?
I like the non complicated storyline and the realistic personalities of the characters and the beauty of Turkey is absolutely overwhelming. The emotions were not all over the place (as it happens so often in other Turkish movies), the main characters slowly let us see into their hearts and motivations.
Even though the storyline is predictable and some of the actors play is adequate, it is a sweet and nice summery romance and it's definitely worth a watch.

This is a cute Turkish film that falls within the parameters of a Hallmark film without strictly being called a Hallmark film. The chemistry between the leads Ayça Aysin Turan (Sahra) and Ekin Koç is perfect. From the moment of the their reunion to the moment of their bond is all built up beautifully. The film still holds a certain cheesiness to it, but it works. I truly enjoyed the exoticness of not the middle of nowhere USA. For me it's hard to grasp the full emotion of the film as I get distracted from reading the subtitles, but I catch myself appropriately and the emotional moments are still touching despite having to switch between reading words and seeing the visual cues.
Thanks to a friend I've been trying to get myself more into foreign films and expand my genres and taste. This is one film I am definitely happy I checked out. It's perfect for a cuddle night on the couch. The build-up is good and the story works out to a tee. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a romcom that's a little fresh.
That's all for now. Thank you for taking the time to read my review. Until next time.... Enjoy the show!

Make me believe
Turkish movie factory is now progressing very well with very 'generic ethnicity' movies with this movie produced mainly in Assos or Behram a very beautiful place and beach around 6 km N from Lesbos Ayca the main character is a very beautiful woman similar to the Hindi Aishwarya featured as Shahra a very demanding magazine asked by her boss to interview Deniz. Deniz featured by Ekeein is a well known but hidden photographer who rejects to be interviewed He knows himself very well that he feels quite poor in discussing face to face with journalists.
They are neighbors from the past and though the lived together they never were friends or lovers , t add to that their funny grannies tried once again to make them join again will they get in love? Tis is a difficult experiment with two strong personalities This is one typical romcom movie with loits of nice humor beautiful women and men and a good story onw of the feew romcoms I liked well Relatively slow pace but good even a bit cheesy dialogues Both characters have a good chemistry Rate 7/10.

The plot was very predictable and most of it doesn't make sense. The chemistry between Sahra and Deniz is very dry and felt really forced. The movie claims to be comedy, but the jokes didn't land with me. There is certainly better romcoms than this. The pace of the movie is slow and it made keep checking for how much of the movie is left to watch. However, the scenery and asthethics of the movie is stunning. It really shows the beauty of Agean side of Turkey. Plus the grandperants of Sahra and Deniz are very cute and funny, it was a joy to watch them. Although, these don't make it worth watching.

All the people saying they had no chemistry and such are just too bored and have too high of expectations from television. Get a hobby and some simplicity in television. This movie was charming and I loved the Grandmas and the friends that added the touch of humor to the romantic angst. All these romances are predictable stories but we watch them because we like to remember how it is we fell in love once.
The leading lady was in The Protector and that was also an interesting story with a lot of elements. She brought charm and relatable elements to this film and I thought I could relate to the competition and frustration I find on the job.
If you want a feel good that is not boring, give it a look.

The two central characters have zero chemistry. How can you possibly cast a movie, however badly written, and not find people who have chemistry with each other? The two characters, Sahra and Deniz, are in conflict for the entire first half of the movie, which is typical for many scripts, but the writing is boring. Early on, Sahra makes a bet that endangers her career, but the character is not stupid enough to make such a bet, so it rings inauthentic. The two actresses playing the grandmothers are extremely weak, worse than the other two. Deniz's friend is adequate, and probably the best actor in this subpar movie. The actress playing Sahra's grandmothers character is one of the worst actresses I've ever seen act.
The only redeeming value of the film is the scenery, which is shown a few times in the first half of the movie, which is as far as I've gotten. I'm willing to update this after seeing more of this horrible film just to complete the review, but I really don't imagine being able to recommend it.
You have a problem with a script If in your movie, the two characters who are in the major conflict cannot even speak to each other, which is the case for one of the two characters in the story. One talks, and the other one doesn't say a thing at some points. I won't reveal who (big surprise!). When characters undergo personal growth during a story, there is of necessity some sort of natural feeling of transition in them that occurs over a period of time in several scenes. In this movie, they decided to do it all at once, with no believable prologue.
I am generally skeptical of watching movies that have been out for some time and only have a few hundred ratings. I violated my own rule! Lol. Please apply my rule and spare yourself some time.

But also, it is a joy to see all the beautiful scenery of life in Turkey. The scenery chosen is very elegant.
Many people may think it too light-hearted, but I saw a depth in it that might not be obvious to some. For example, there is more respect for romance, and more depth in their relationship. A seriousness in their romantic decisionS, not shallowness.
I did ponder at times (because I'm fond of philosophizing) why it offered such a 'European' view of relations, rather than an Islamic perspective that represents 98% of the people. But I certainly didn't complain. It is a genteel story and we enjoyed it thoroughly!

When people tell me romance is boring, I always assume they think of these movies. There is absolutely nothing new about this plot.
I don't get why this is called a comedy, it is not funny at all. But let's say all romantic non-sad movies are like that, and forget this criticism.
Yes, romantic movies are cheesy but why repeat what every single movie has already done and make it even more boring?
And why so many cliches? Let us count: meddling grandmas, good looking guy, good looking guys slightly worse looking friend, good looking girl, good looking girl's slightly less good looking friend, summer in a place with a beach, enemies to lovers, childhood trauma, bad relationship with parents, a bet, developing relationship then a fight and then reconciliation.
Want Turkish movies that are more interesting? Let's take the romantic comedy movies like Sen Kiminle Dans Ediyorsun- which is a ridiculous movie but at least it has its own charm and it's not boring to the core. Romantic movies do not need to be boring!

This movie is a feel-good light movie with very little drama.
The plot is okay although it could have been made better by having great script writing and storytelling yet they did wonderful with the amazing views of landscape and I really loved the lighting and the filter of this movie especially with every scene of the girl.
To me, it just felt like they focused more on the visuals of the actress and scenery more than the whole story and the acting as it lacked to connect with the viewers.
Still, this is an okay movie to watch if you want to watch an undramatic romantic movie with beautiful landscapes.

An absolutely wonderful summer romance! Light, sweet and brings all the good feels of a great rom-com! The acting was first rate! The cinematography beautiful! Really enjoyed that the movie focused on the two main characters, Sahra and Deniz, though there were strong contributions by the supporting cast. As all rom-coms, the audience knows that the story ending will be a happy one. But that doesn't take away from the romance that unfolds and brings the story together.
Highly recommend the movie for everyone!
The Turkish title to the movie is Sen Inandir. Not to be confused with Inandir Beni.

I loved the movie: nice plot, funny and lighthearted. A real feel good movie, perfect for Summer. The female lead actress Ayca Aysin Turan is beautiful, funny and charismatic. I don't think I have ever seen a more beautiful woman in my life. The male lead is less charismatic but overall they make a nice couple. I think I read somewhere the movie was filmed in Asos, Turkey. What a beautiful place, it made for the perfect location for a romcom. I think for everyone reading it's definitely worth to check the movie out, you won't regret it. It has all the ingredients you want and need for a feelgood Summer romcom.

It's a beautiful movie. Simply but beautifully narrated. With exquisite performances and extraordinary scenery. Ekin a very talented actor who shows his facet in a romantic comedy . As for Ayça, who in addition to being extremely beautiful, does a very good job giving Sahar a touch of charisma and sweetness.
It's the romantic comedy you can't stop watching.
The work of the team is very good since they turned a simple story into a beautiful narrative that makes you remain trapped and with the need to see much more. It is highly recommended I hope you can enjoy as I did. I invite you to see it you will not regret it.

I adore every aspect of this movie. It's a light romantic comedy and has the vibes of a summer movie.
The performance of the actors is remarkable, they act naturally and smoothly.
The plot is beautiful and delightful
The scenery is breathtaking, the wonderful places and fabulous nature make you long for a summer vacation in Asos .
The chemistry between the leads is insane , you feel they are effortlessly and naturally connected. I like their names, Sahra and Deniz: they are symbolic.
While watching , I felt excited as I followed their lovely love story. I highly recommend it to everyone .
PS: the movie is a rom-com not a drama , and its name is Sen Inandir (not Inandir Beni, please)

I absolutely loved this movie - it was filmed in the beautiful part of Turkey. It was a romantic and light movie to watch and enjoy it.
It was fun to see their grandmothers tricking and meddling in their lives so they can be together. Absolutely loved the grandmothers!
I loved watching Ayca and Ekin's scense - they complimented each other very well!! Their chemistry was beautiful to see on screen - we need to see them again soon in a movie or series!
Actually the whole cast was amazing and they all complimented each other. This is a great movie to rewatch all the time - not boring at all so watch it.
