In a very quick turnaround, Hulu has given a series order to Mid-Century Modern, its multi-camera comedy pilot from Will & Grace creators David Kohan & Max Mutchnick and Ryan Murphy that stars Nathan Lane, Matt Bomer, Nathan Lee Graham and Linda Lavin.

The pickup comes less than two months after the pilot, written by Kohan and Mutchnick, was officially greenlighted and just four weeks after it was taped in front of a live audience with multi-cam icon James Burrows directing.

During her two-part conversation with Frankel on her podcast “Just B,” Leakes dished on some old and new items like feeling like she was blacklisted following her lawsuit against NBCUniversal, Bravo, and production companies True Entertainment and Truly Original, and how Black “housewives” were not given the same privileges as their white counterparts.

According to an announcement issued by Netflix on Wednesday, March 1, the star of such series as “Veronica Mars” and “The Good Place” has signed on for a new comedy for the streaming service.

The series was created by Erin Foster, daughter of Canadian uber-producer David Foster, whose behind-the-camera credits include working as staff writer on Ryan Murphy-produced sitcom “The New Normal”.

Netflix has picked up a new comedy series starring Kristen Bell from writer Erin Foster and executive producer Steven Levitan, Variety has learned.

The untitled series is said to center on “the unlikely relationship between an irreverent, outspoken, agnostic woman (Bell) and an unconventional rabbi.”

Foster created the series and serves as an executive producer. Bell also executive produces in addition to starring. Levitan executive produces via Steven Levitan Productions (Slp). Craig Digregorio, Sara Foster, and Danielle Stokdyk also executive produce. Oly Obst and Josh Lieberman are executive producers for 3 Arts. 20th Television will produce in association with Slp, with the company currently under an overall deal at the studio.

If anyone knows a thing or two about bagging Golden Globe Award nominations, it’s Ryan Murphy, who has produced a total of 14 program bids and five victories for 11 different TV projects thus far. Now, he’s looking at another potential successful run with five shows eligible at next year’s ceremony, including his newest Netflix series “Ratched,” the eight-episode inaugural season of which was released September 18 on Netflix. NeNe Leakes — the Housewife who has launched a thousand GIFs — announced on her YouTube channel Thursday that she will not be returning to “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” next season. The show has been filming for months already without Leakes, one of the biggest stars who has come out of Bravo’s “Housewives” industrial complex.

Addressing the camera, an emotional Leakes said: “I have been on an extremely, extremely long, exhausting, tiring, emotional negotiation. There has been a lot of emotion flying from both sides. Hulu has revealed it is moving the June 19 launch of the series out of respect for “Juneteenth,” which marks 155 years since slavery was abolished in the U.S.

“This date represents an important turning point for our nation and for human rights,” Hulu said in a statement, “and we believe that now, more than ever, it deserves to have its own day in the spotlight.”

Love, Victor will now bow on Wednesday, June 17.

The streamer has also announced that Padma Lakshmi-hosted docuseries Taste the Nation — which was also set to premiere on June 19 — will now debut on Thursday, June 18.

The “Love, Simon” TV series has moved from Disney+ to Hulu, the Disney-owned streaming services announced in a joint statement Monday.

Inspired by the 2018 film starring Nick Robinson, the show, which is now titled “Love, Victor,” will premiere on Hulu in June. The jump marks the second time a project has shifted to Hulu after being ordered at Disney+, with the first being the Zoe Kravitz-led “High Fidelity,” which premiered earlier this month.

“American Horror Story” mastermind Ryan Murphy will be honored with the Vito Russo Award at the upcoming 31st Annual GLAAD Media Awards, the organization announced Thursday.

Per GLAAD, “The Vito Russo Award is presented to an openly Lgbtq media professional who has made a significant difference in accelerating Lgbtq acceptance. The Award is named after Vito Russo, a founder of GLAAD and celebrated Act Up activist, who pushed open the door for news and entertainment industries to include Lgbtq performers and stories.”
