Original cut of the movie was 3 hours but director Ali Abdel-Khalek cut nearly an hour to make the tempo faster, later years they wanted to make a screening of the 3 hours version but unfortunately the cut part was deleted permanently in the final edit.
When Mahmoud Abdel Aziz read the script for the first time he wanted to play the doctor not the punk, later he changed his mind.
