"Sex Sells!" is a dumb title for a dumb show: 3 lousy Mommy's Girl episodes.
Title scene, poorly directed by David Lord in his sleep, has mom Christie Stevens and fellow blonde kid Emma Starletto having sex cheerfully indoors, after making a few bucks washing cars in front of their home. Gimmick is that drivers pass them by until the ladies put on a sexy lesbian sex show outdoors. That's it -a dumb idea for a dumber segment.
A kid giving her stepmom a lazy day of pampering is titled "Don't Lift a Finger!", and goes nowhere in a hurry. The usually vivacious Jessica Ryan, not even a redhead here, is inert and boring as the stepmom, while starlet Percy Sires merely brings big tits to the scene. She dresses up in a cliched maid costume to tantalize mom, and the resulting faux incest is boring.
"Every Minute We Have Left" is a lousy attempt at science fiction. It's 40 minutes to midinight, at which time a new law in a dystopian society will go in effect, not merely banning stepmom/daughter sex but causing such relatives to lose their sexual attraction (futuristic magic??) to each other.
With some dumb metallic makeup on their faces, and a silver costume including boots left over from the '60s on daughter Skye Blue, a morose couple (vet Brooke Banner plays the mom) have faux incest one last time in perhaps the dumbest piece of narrative inspired by "The Handmaid's Tale" yet produced.
It's not satirical or amusing, just dull, but comes off as yet another insult from producer Bree Mills, whose "I'm a porn crusader feminist" pose is utterly ridiculous, even in a cynical sense.
