The novel's author, Serena B. Miller, visited the set in France and wrote a fourteen part blog about it on her official website.
While the novel the film is based on is set in Canada, the film is set and was filmed in France. Ironically, most films produced for Hallmark tend to be filmed in Canada regardless of where they are actually set.
