Angelina Ballerina: Angelina Sets Sail

I came here from Angelina Ballerina: The Next Steps. Before all, I find both the remake and the original Angelina Ballerina SERIES lovely. Some films are okay, however, I couldn't say the same about this film. Angelina here was portrayed as annoyingly meddlesome and nothing good comes out of it. In her nosy and self-absorbed ways to play Cupid with this sailor and his lover, Angelina kept messing up and making the situation worse. First, Angelina wrote a fake invitation to help this sailor impress the father (Captain) of his lover. The captain got angry that the sailor was trespassing at the party. Second, when the sailor got downgraded to a mopper (something like that) as his punishment, Angelina, once again, tries to meddle by trying to shine it, but ends up making it worse when the water spills. "Oh, what have I done?" in that annoying, mindless tone. Oh, gosh! Please portray our beloved character as a little bit smarter and wiser, just like her portrayal in the original and The Next Steps series.

My favorite series character was portrayed as mindless and nosy in this particular film!

I really hope other films have portrayed my beloved Angelina as a better and wiser darling that she is. Love from Southeast Asia!
