This Dramedy : comedy and drama concerning some unhappy passengers in a tumultuous trip taking place from Moscow to Madrid , but a storm forces a change the plans of the motley group of tourists . Slastan (Alex Garcia) is aboard the air journey from Karadjistan , he is willing to blow himself up the Moscow plane bound for Madrid , but his scheme is complicated when , due to a snowstorm , as the flight is delayed . Staying lost in a far hotel in the middle of Russia , as the terrorist will have to live with the 332 people whom he will murder when the storm ceases , which prevents him from going on his mission . These are the following ones : a widow mistress (Carmen Machi) -whose Russian husband newly died- , her children and who falls for a sympathetic Argentinean man (Eduardo Garcia) , a young marriage (Leticia Dolera , Ivan Massagué) and a beautiful young called Nancy (Verónica Echegui) , among others . Slastan meets , talks and befriends his future victims and starts to wonder if suicide and destroy the lives of all these innocent people is actually right and just.
Agreeable , fun comedy with some dramatic elements including brief character studio regarding a few unfortunate roles need for love who hold special peculiarities , and adding a heart-breaking ending . It contains mirth but also sadness , light humor , sensitive relation -on a plane and at hotel- among likeable roles , laughters , and spectacular final with a large plane on the tracks . Well portrayed characters , outstanding the nice acting by Alex Garcia as Slastan, a Karadjistan man finally reconciling with humanity. As well as an enjoyable relationship between Slatan/Álex García who is willing to immolate himself and Nancy/Veronica Echegui that will rescue Slatan and herself from their thunderous past lives . Both of whom ultimately will find love , understanding and friendship among them and the kind passengers .
Colorfully photographed by Miguel Amodeo , deemed to be one of the best Spanish cameramen , including : De tu ventana a la mía, La Novia , La habitación de Fermat , La Llamada . Being shot on several locations as Aeródromo de Casarrubios, Toledo, Castilla-La Mancha , Llanos del Hospital, Huesca, Aragón, and Benasque, Huesca, Aragón. Plus , an emotive and atmospheric musical score by Manel Santiesteban. The motion picture was lively made by Alex Pina who has only directed three movies : Los hombres de Paco TV Series , Los Serrano series and Kamikaze . However , being one of the most notorious TV writers/producers including White Lines , El Barco , Periodistas , Los Serrano , Vis a Vis , and especially the popular TV blockbuster Money Heist or La casa de Papel . This Kamikaze had some awards and nominations as Asecan : Nominee Award Best Cinematography Migue Amoedo and Málaga Spanish Film Festival 2014 Nominee Golden Biznaga Best Film : Álex Pina. Rating : 6/10 . Passable and acceptable.

I do not want to spoil the movie because it is definitely worth watching.
The music is excellent, the photography and location is magnificent. The acting is dead on. Even some beautiful Spanish eye candy can be seen.
I found this movie in HBO NOW in the action section, but I guess it can be categorized as a comedy of sorts.
It deals with a very hard subject, one to which Spanish are not foreign to. Terrorism and the humanistic side of both sides of the story. As incomprehensible and difficult to swallow it might be.
The final phrase in the movie by the senior survivor might be enough to award investing the time to enjoy it in its entirety.
I know that my fellow Americans are not too keen on subtitled movies, let alone one that deals with an issue to which we feel we hold an exclusivity (suffering, terrorism, justice, etc.) but if you can, try to enjoy it.
I sincerely didn't follow the subtitles so I do not know how accurate is the translation and since this is Spanish from Spain and Argentina, it has to be well understood to catch its subtle comedic value.
It is a very well made movie worthy of a big screen and popcorn. It will definitely jerk your heart and maybe, just maybe provide a couple of smiles if you are capable of keeping an open mind.
