The movie was shot primarily in Los Angeles but the director used coordinated layovers in various cities to shoot footage in Charlotte, Denver, and Michigan. After a minor car accident left him with a rental car, he utilized that car as the Stalker's vehicle and drove to Vegas to shoot several additional scenes.
The primary camera was a Canon 7D. The B Camera was a Canon T2i. The more gritty C Camera (webcam look) was a $299 Canon HD camera.
Since the movie was shot mostly in script sequence, certain scenes were loosely sketched out for story points and dialogue so the actors could have fun and utilize their improv skills. The director credits inexpensive DSLR technology and this looser filming method as key to getting the movie shot on a short schedule.
