Though Marvel has decided to consolidate all of its cinematic universe offerings onto Disney+, some outliers still live on for other streaming services. In May 2021, Hulu is set to premiere the latest non-canon Marvel series.
The animated comedy Marvel’s M.O.D.O.K. is set to premiere on May 21 and stars Patton Oswalt as the titular Marvel villain. Oswalt’s Modok is every bit the devious floating head that he’s depicted as in the comics. He’s also your every day family man and the show will take on the format of a workplace sitcom. Sounds kinda fun! It’s no wonder that M.O.D.O.K. is the last Hulu Marvel show standing.
In non-Marvel offerings this month, Shrill will debut its third and final season on May 7. This comedy based on Lindy West’s memoir and starring SNL‘s Aidy Bryant has been a consistently bright presence on the streaming scene since...

Mad Men series finale recap Season 7, Episode 14 (original air date May 17, 2015) It took just over an hour, but Matt Weiner put Mad Men to bed with a flourish, and the endings are more hopeful than we had any reason to expect when “Person to Person” begins with Don doing a speed test in a 1970 Chevelle on the Utah salt flats. Echoes of Don’s past reverberate through the episode — his post-Korean War job as a car salesman, his lack of scruples with women, his identity as Dick Whitman, his moral reckoning with the man whose … Continue reading →

UK distributor launches fund, picks up Nicole Conn drama.
UK distributor Peccadillo Pictures and film finance consultancy Authentic Film Group are to launch an Lgbt film fund.
The Eis fund will look to support Lgbt genre films through production and distribution support.
Tom Abell and Kahloon Loke of Lgbt specialist Peccadillo said: “There have been cases recently where demand for suitable quality Lgbt genre films has outstripped available supply.
“We’ve been working with and nurturing relationships with many fantastic filmmakers over the years who are keen to tell often very real Lgbt stories to our audiences both in the UK and internationally.
“Never has the time been better to create a concerted drive focussed on the financing for films of this genre. Authentic has a great track record of helping structure film financing arrangements over the years, so this seems the perfect partnership.”
Adam Betteridge of Authentic added: “Lgbt rights have arguably never been higher up the...

According to Walton Goggins, the tears shed during that scene was real. I'm also glad that Ava, Boyd and Raylan made it out alive. FrozenBarbie: I just knew that was what Boyd was going to say at the end, and it made me tear up. A perfect ending. Couldn't have asked for anything better. Walton Goggins deserves to be nominated, and deserves to win, in my opinion. Sam Elliott and Mary Steenburgen deserve noms in supporting, too. And as long as I'm dreaming, this show also...

Parks and Recreation has spent much of its six seasons on the air with the threat of cancellation looming overhead. Despite being a critical darling from Season 2 onward and boasting a very loyal fanbase, the show has never been able to maintain particularly high ratings. By now, longtime fans have grown accustomed to the possibility of a sudden and unceremonious end to the program. A number of episodes over the years were produced with the expectation that there would be no renewal, and the finale to Season 6 was no different. Written and shot back before the official announcement of a Season 7, “Moving Up” had a sense of closure to it that surpassed all previous pseudo-finales and sent viewers everywhere rushing to their computers to see if this truly was the final episode.
Well, it wasn’t.
But it sure could have been. All of the characters had moments to shine,...

Married couple Debi Mazar & Gabriele Corcos, stars of Cooking Channel’s show Extra Virgin, have mastered the art of serving each other breakfast-in-bed, as well as whipping up gourmet desserts on the annual occasion. Their Coffee Shortbread recipe, and their favorite Panna Cotta recipe, both pair perfectly with Lavazza coffee. Lavazza Coffee Panna Cotta This rich and velvety custard is not just delicious, but easy to make, too. A perfect ending to a romantic meal, this panna cotta relies upon Lavazza Gran Selezione coffee for its intense dark roast and subtle chocolate notes. The panna cotta will set into two parts: a rich, latte flavored layer and a darker layer with a stronger coffee flavor. To make for two, halve all ingredients in the panna cotta and use 1/2 teaspoon of gelatin...

A lesbian-themed film won at Cannes. Wow! How is that possible? Why did it happen? Is it a film that shows the reality of lesbian life, love and coming out? Or does it pander to heterosexual ideas of lesbian love and turn lesbian sex into a porn show?
Abdellatif Kechiche's "Blue Is The Warmest Color" walked off with two trophies at this year's Cannes film festival: the Palme d'Or and a special award for its two lead actresses, Adele Exarchopoulos and Lea Seydoux.
Lesbian film is taking off. The quality of films coming out in this genre is growing. The actors involved are well-known in the industry, often award winners themselves. The cinematography is increasingly well-done and often amazingly beautiful. The scripts are well-written and the acting has moved from amateurish and stilted to experienced and smooth, with excellent story-telling and directing.

Welcome to the latest edition of the Arrow Round Table!
This week TV Fanatic staffers Kate Brooks, Carissa Pavlica and Nick McHatton are joined by Arrow fan Henry Otero of Hanko9.com to discuss "Darkness on the Edge of Town" and all of the wild happenings that unfolded, leading up to this Wednesday's Arrow Season 1 finale.
Sit back and enjoy and join in with your own take in the comments!
----------------------------------------
Were you surprised at Walter's reaction after the kidnapping and rescue?
Kate: Not really. I think he wasn't dramatic enough. I'm glad Moira is having all of this negative response from her actions.
Henry: Actually, I was expecting him to be even more upset upon seeing Moira again. The guy is no fool, the second he came to in that small cell, I'm sure he realized Moira was involved with his kidnapping.
Nick: To be honest, up until the rescue,...

Sure the KCAs give out awards, but it’s all about the show itself — and the Slime! Read on to see the best moments of this year’s Kids’ Choice Awards.
There isn’t a more fun awards show than the Kids’ Choice Awards. It’s got all our favorite celebs, and most importantly, it’s got the slime. This year did not disappoint and had tons of awesome moments!
Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards — The Best Moments
The party got started early on the orange carpet, thanks to a strategically placed trampoline. Stars like Jaden Smith took turns bouncing around.
Pitbull and Christina Aguilera started the show off right with a stunning performance. And in true Kca fashion, Pitbull took a slime bath just as the performance was ending — but we’ll get to the slime soon enough.
We were also totally excited to see Kristen Stewart and Selena Gomez take home awards.

Good morning!
Portia de Rossi looks hilarious just sitting on a couch in this photo for Arrested Development. Is it May yet?
Atlanta TV host Mo Ivory wrote about her first lesbian wedding experience and how awesome it was. An excerpt:
I learn so much when I agree to new things. If you ever find yourself making judgments about people – like, for example, immigrants, or Asians, or African-Americans, white folks, poor people, rich people, gay or transgender, or those interracially married – find one of those people quickly, talk to them, consider their position, drop your judgment and watch your world open up.
Thanks Mo!
