The movie is a remake of telugu blockbuster movie "Vikramakudu" starring Ravi Teja and Anushka Shetty . Later it has been remade in hindi starring Akshay kumar and Sonakshi Sinha "Rowdy Rathore" Which is a blockbuster as well.
The film's Blu-ray was released in the UK after 13 years of release.
