It took Gilbert Stark four years to write the script for the film. The original script was only 45 pages long but developed into a feature length script over time.
Patrick Stark (Sound Guy) wasn't available to be on set every single day, so the "boom mic drop gag" was done by several different cast members.
The hooker was played by husband and wife Gilbert and Michelle Stark. On the film's commentary, Elliot Moon mentioned, that this might be the first time in film history for a married couple to play the same hooker.
Several scenes had to be taken out of the script. They were considered too "harsh".
Julian "Jay" Burton's elevator scene had to be re-shot due to a stain on his shirt that nobody noticed during the shoot.
