- TriviaThere were no props left over from the previous films -- "Not even the graphics files from the posters and book covers," according to production designer Michèle Laliberté -- so everything for the shrine had to be recreated from scratch. Laliberté told IndieWire, "We went through the films and made a list of all the murders and all the victims," adding that everything had to be from the murders that occurred in the Scream movies, not the Stab movies, and that "the only Stab objects were related to Scream 3, which was about the making of a Stab movie."
- GoofsDespite Ghostface taking a blow to the forehead from a frying pan, none of the suspects at the end of the movie show the resulting bruising/swelling that would have occurred.
- Quotes
Jason Carvey: [as he's dying] We have to finish the movie.
The Voice: [raising his knife] Who gives a fuck about movies!
- Crazy creditsAfter the credits, Mindy appears and says "Not every movie needs a post credits scene."

It over does it on the nostalgia and occasionally frustratingly undermines it own stakes but that can't stop Scream VI from being a really good sequel that's got a killer opening, a truly brutal Ghostface and a constant stream of great set pieces unfolding at a break neck pace.
It doesn't feel that meta, especially in comparison to its predecessor but one of Scream VI's greatest strengths is truly doubling down on the whodunit/r rated Scooby Doo vibe that the series has and is always at its best at when embraced.
The core four (Barrera, Ortega, Gooding and Savoy Brown) are great, their familial bonds and friendship is so believable and their overall likeability makes them so fun to watch, proving they can definitely carry a film without the need to rely on legacy characters.
Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett had a real knack for set pieces in the last one and they've only gotten better this time around. Each set piece is cleverly set up, inventive and unbearably tense. Particular highlights include a unnerving subway journey and early liquor store shootout.
