Elliott pushes Blunt into a corner in his search for answers, Philby becomes very quickly aware that his presence in Moscow appears to be tolerated, rather than welcomed, all that seems to be left for him.....is a glass of vodka.
The agonisingly slow pace continues, it really is one of the most frustrating dramas I've watched for some time, considering the cast, budget and source material, they've really managed to make something so interesting, be something pretty dull.
With the greater focus on Philby, and his slightly awkward presence in Moscow, my interest has increased a little bit, interesting to see that it wasn't all smiles and whistles begins The Iron Curtain.
I would have thought that by the conclusion of episode four, that it would have been full of tension and urgency, instead it's amiably ambling on to episode five.
Alex Price has featured, but has he uttered a single word yet, what a waste.
Slightly better, but I'm still needing caffeine to stay focused.
6/10.
