I saw this short film at the 1964 World's Fair - depicting the current and future state of the space program.
Frank Capra made it, it was his last film, and it includes a couple of familiar stars from that time acting and narrating.
Needless to say, I was fascinated then (and now) because I followed the space program very closely. With every issue of Time and Life magazine for example, and when I learned to write to NASA for information and photos.
I've just rediscovered this film; I clearly remember images including the futuristic space shuttle. It's funny how interests and memories persist over so many years!
Unfortunately, this film is only available in very low-res form... I'd like to get a better copy but can't find it anywhere. There should be a projection-resolution copy available somewhere. I'm watching.
