Lyricist Manoj Muntashir is very upset over the fact that he has not been mentioned in the credits of Rang Rasiya despite composing the lyrics for the film. Manoj Muntashir claimed that he had penned the lyrics for the Ketan Mehta directorial six years ago after which the film was stuck. But now, that the film will finally see the light of the day, the lyricist is miffed about his work not being acknowledged. For anyone familiar with the Razzies concept of Hollywood, the ‘Ghanta Awards’ (‘ghanta’ being the slang for ‘rubbish’) is its desi version to celebrate and recognize the worst that Bollywood offers in terms of films, actors, technicians among some other categories.
In its second year, the awards function was held over the weekend to a packed house. Those who could not attend had the option of watching its online live stream (something that none of the bigger awards have been able to achieve yet). While invites were sent out to all the nominees, Sonam Kapoor was the lone celeb attendee, went sportingly on the stage to collect her award confessing “Thank you so much! I finally won an award!”.

Film: 'Tere Mere Phere'; Cast: Vinay Pathak, Riya Sen, Jagrat Desai and Sasha Goradia; Director: Deepa Sahi; Rating: * 1/2 - a mismatched comedy.
Though comedy has grown into a lush genre over the years, few directors in India have mastered the art of relaying it on celluloid. 'Tere Mere Phere' is an earnest endeavour by actress turned director Deepa Sahi.
'Tere Mere Phere' is not only a romantic comedy, it is a black comedy, slapstick comedy, satire, comedy of manners, screwball comedy -- all rolled in one. Deepa's attempt to weave in every sub-genre of comedy is probably the nemesis of the.

Mumbai, Sep 18: Ghazal and bhajan singer Anup Jalota has tried something different for 'Tere Mere Phere' - for the first time he has crooned a sufi-club song for his debut production venture.
'I sing ghazal, bhajan on regular basis. Every month there is a album coming out. For the song, Deepaji (actor-turned-director Deepa Sahi) explained me the situation and the kind of tune she wanted. I loved the song and that's why I sang it,' Jalota told Ians.
'I don't do playback singing because I am very, very busy with my live concerts across the globe. But this is my film, so I wanted to beautify,' said Jalota who has co-produced.
