Brock : [after saving Zorua] I'm glad we avoided a fight.
Ash Ketchum : Yeah.
Zorua : I wouldn't have needed your help anyway.
Ash Ketchum : Excuse me, but you were just about to get pushed off of the cliff right there.
Dawn : He's right.
Brock : That's one tough Pokemon.
[Ash, Dawn, and Brock suddenly realized what just happened]
Brock , Ash Ketchum , Dawn : You talked?
Zorua : [giggles] Yeah. So I did.

Ash Ketchum : [after Kodai traps them in a cage] What do you think-?
[grabs the bars and gets electrocuted]
Dawn : Ash, no!
Karl : Are you okay?
Grings Kodai : [floats up on his hovercraft] Not one of you has the power to resist me.
Dawn : It's you!
Karl : Kodai!
Ash Ketchum : So why did you lock us up?
Grings Kodai : I don't who you are and I couldn't care less, but I'm certain I won't allow you to get in my way, and that you can depend on.
Ash Ketchum : What do you mean?
Grings Kodai : I have the power to see the future...
Karl : Future?
Grings Kodai : ...and all obstacles in my path. And so I must remove all of them!

Dawn : [after Rowena opens the cage] Who are you?
Rowena : My name's Rowena, Mr. Kodai's executive secretary.
Karl : [sarcastically] Right. And I'm his mom.
Rowena : I'm actually a newspaper reporter just like Karl. I'm working undercover right now.
[lets her hair down]
Rowena : Investigating Kodai.
Dawn : Wow!
Ash Ketchum : You're on our side!
Brock : Excellent!
Karl : I had a feeling you'd show up.
Rowena : My investigation's complete.
[holds up a data pad]
Rowena : [winks] It's all here.

Ash Ketchum : [confronting Kodai] Pikachu!
[Pikachu runs forward with him]
Dawn : Piplup!
[Piplup runs forward. Pikachu fires an electric blast that forces Kodai and Goone back. Ash runs up to Celebi and picks it up]
Ash Ketchum : Celebi.
Dawn : [runs up to Zoura] Zoura!
[picks him up and runs off. Goone's Pokemon try to follow them, but the native Pokemon hold them back. As the group escapes in their boat, Pikachu fires an electric blast that destroys one of Kodai's drones]
Goone : [watching the group escape] Those punks. Mr. Kodai, what do we do now?
Grings Kodai : I foresaw that Rowena would betray me. And I know precisely what will happen.
[releases a mini robot that flies off]

Brock : [running through the sewers] Taking this shortcut should get us all to the stadium before Kodai.
Dawn : You sure you're right this time, Brock?
Brock : Trust me. No need to worry.
Ash Ketchum : I always trust you, Brock.
Pikachu : Pika, pika!

Dawn : [fighting Goone and his Pokemon] Now, Piplup! Whirlpool!
[Piplup fires a whirlpool blast that knocks the aerial Pokemon out of the air. Brock's Pokemon are fighting the Scizors. Mamoswine blasts several of the Ninjask. They fire at Mamoswine, hurting him]
Dawn : Mamoswine!
Brock : Hang tough, everyone!
Goone : It's about time to finish you punks off!
[a blast of dark energy hits the Ninjask]
Goone : Huh? What?
[Zoroark runs up]
Goone : It's Zoroark! But how?
[the Scizors try to attack Zoroark, but she easily defeats them. Zoroark then powers up]
Brock : Everyone, get back!
[Dawn, Brock, and their Pokemon take cover. Zoroark then blasts Goone and his Pokemon back]

Joe : [after Ash and co. return] You're back!
Tammy : And you're alright.
Ash Ketchum : Hey, Joe.
Dawn : Hi, Tammy.
[Celebi lifts up its head from within Ash's arms]
Tammy : [gasps] Celebi!

Ash Ketchum : [after Zoroark blasts Kodai back] Yeah, Zoroark!
Pikachu : Pikachu!
[Piplup's Bubble Beam blasts Mismagius back, freeing Ash and Pikachu from its Phychic]
Dawn : You okay?
Brock : We're here!
Ash Ketchum : Dawn and Brock!
Pikachu : Pikachu!
[Mismagius flies up and fires a beam at them, but Bronzor shields them]
Ash Ketchum : Thanks, Bronzor.
[to Pikachu]
Ash Ketchum : Pikachu! Thunderbolt, let's go!
Pikachu : Pika, Pika-CHU!
[blasts Mismagius with an electric bolt]
Ash Ketchum : Pikachu, Volt Tackle!
[Pikachu runs up while powering up with electric power and knocks Mismagius out of the air]
Ash Ketchum : All right!

Dawn : [after Celebi heals Zoroark] I'm so happy for Zorua.
Zorua : It's all thanks to you!
Ash Ketchum : You were great too.
Pikachu : Pika.

Zorua : [to Celebi] I'll be your friend forever!
Ash Ketchum : Yeah, so will we!
Dawn : Yeah!
[Celebi vanishes into the future while the protagonists look on in happiness]
