Storyline
Did you know
- GoofsAt one point, the Boss tells Serena to "always leave one bullet in the chamber, so when you reload you don't have to rack the slide". The gun was a Colt 1911A1, which when the last round is fired has a slide stop which locks the slide open, eliminating the need to "rack the slide". But if you 'shoot it dry' you still have to 'drop the slide to chamber a round from the magazine. Now you have only seven rounds - one in the chamber and six in the mag. If you fire seven from a fully loaded 1911 (one in the chamber and seven in the mag) and reload, you only have to dump the empty mag and insert a full one. The slide does not lock back because you left a round in the chamber. This is the fastest way to get the weapon back into action and, if you need to shoot while reloading, there is a round in the chamber with which to do so. The rule is - load seven + one, shoot seven and reload.

A POWERFUL thought provoking piece for the true fan of the art of film making. If you like creativity and sudden twists and turns, you will like this. If you like the Hollywood cookie cutter simplified glossy.... Well, This piece is not for everyone. But if you like to actually leave the theatre thinking about the context and sub context of what you just saw and actually WANT to watch it a second or third time.... That is what this movie does. The film seems a mix of Borne Identity meets Thunderball meets LaFemme Nakita meets Willie Wonka (I don't know.. it makes sense to me). It seamlessly blends the high paced energy with the fantastical. Evalena Marie has a face and acting chops that draw you in and makes you like her no matter WHAT she is doing. Jonathan Thomas makes for a great counter balance as these two actors land a formidable "One Two" Punch! My Suggestion for watching this film the first time is, sit back and let it all happen and believe in it. If the viewer does this, you will LOVE this film. It gets complicated but don't get TOO caught up in the details the first time through.. stay with it. In the end you will TOTALLY get it.. and then .. you will HAVE to watch it a second time and likely more. Kudos to the entire cast and crew of this film. A real thinker that continues to make you think long after the film is over. I look forward to seeing more from Director Kevin Barry and all of the actors in this film that really packs that punch!
