Alone in his office, a fatherly warm-hearted doctor is revising a medical compendium on trauma treatment and fractures, when all of a sudden, someone slips a hand-written note under his door, urging him to visit the village. Without delay, the good doctor rushes to the remote village, first through a muddy and snow-covered road, and then, through an uphill cobblestoned passage, to finally reach the rural community. However, once there, the village seems deserted, there is not a soul in sight, and everywhere the doctor looks, all he can see is decay coupled with a hopeless air of neglect. Where is everybody?
