The Lay of LaLa Land

Not a pun, quite literally actually. And I am talking mostly about the male main character here. He really digs in deep (no not that kind of deep, so no pun intended here) - or falls really hard for the main female character here.

A quite troubled woman to say the least. With quite the package ... from the past that is. And one she is putting together for the future - but that will only be really apparent as the movie progresses. Nicely told and if you are kind of able to sympathize with the chemistry those two have - and their relationship ... this movie is something for you.

Although the subject matter may suggest it, there is not really a lot of nudity here (especially not from the main actress/character), but it also works without any vivid content from her (again no pun intended). Because the story and the bond is strong with the two - and while you may not agree with the actions taken - they make sense within the ... sensibility of the story and the characters.

Suspend your disbelief and go on this trip ... if you dare.
