I liked it, but I felt it dragged on more than it should have. It had a lot of unmotivated scenes that could have been cut out to make the film slightly shorter. The dialogues in a lot of scenes felt expository and "told more than it showed".
The chase scene that led to the climax of the film honestly felt like it led to nowhere and was kind of disappointing,

Being completely unaware of Tunisian political climate, the film does offer a premise of a corrupt society which is neither ambiguous nor irrelevant to the audience, specifically to us. The protagonists at the wrong end of societal ladder face insurmountable injustice in the hands of fraudulent system.
Mehdi Hmili's second feature film is bold, gutsy but still it doesn't hit the way it intends to mainly due to the lack of proper focus on the characters whose most of their actions seems out of the place throughout the film.
The second half of the film outstays it's welcome and sabotages the film of it's intended brilliance. The scenes seems forced and gets saturated with clumsiness. That being said, the leading performances were incendiary to say at the least, but the supporting characters are one dimensional and omits anything substantial to come out from their angle. There were many things, the film could have done better, like the length of the films seems more than a half hours extra.
Also a tighter editing could have saved the mess.
The wrath against the society and it's problems is evident from the film but apart from the fantastic leading performances and a decent first half, the film's intention seems authentic but it's execution is half baked.

I'm Libyan and I know the Tunisian culture and society very well. This movie discusses the problems of current youth generation and shows how in our currupted countries, like Libya and Tunisia, youth have no clear direction in life and spend the most valuable years of their lives ( 20s ) with no guidance from the community.
This movie sheds light on how we live a very difficult time in Libya, Tunisia, Algeria, and Morocco.
I enjoyed the movie. Very good acting. I liked the a lot the main Actress Afaf ben Mahmoud. She has international acting capabilities and I hope one day we see her in International TV Drama.
