Sam Morril: Up on the Roof

Despite the fact that some of this comic's material is raunchy, gross, and cringe worthy, he just may be one of the top 5 standup comics alive. Morril is wildly creative and absolutely hilarious. His shows offer several laugh out loud moments and extremely sharp and witty wordplay and social commentary. Even when he's grossing out or borderline offending his audience, he manages to often turn it around with funny doses of self deprecating humor. I can't make it through most so called "comedy specials" because I find most stand up comedians to be painfully unfunny and often disgusting and mean spirited on top of that. However, I have found myself eagerly watching every one of Morril's shows that I can track down, because he is a one man laugh riot with a ton of talent. I am glad I stuck it out through some of his raunchy bits and stayed around for the awesome parts that had me cracking up!
