Amazing Mario-game for Wii

"New Super Mario Bros. Wii" is a side-scrolling Mario-game released in 2009.

Basic plot: Mario, Luigi, Blue Toad and Yellow Toad are celebrating Princess Peach's birthday. Inside the seemingly ordinary birthday cake are Bowser Jr. and the Koopalings who jump out from the cake and kidnap the princess. So Mario and friends have to save the princess as usual.

This game has to be one of the greatest Mario-games for Wii I've been playing, this together with others like "Super Mario Galaxy" and "Super Smash Bros. Brawl". The game uses various elements which are heavily similar to earlier but nostalgic Mario games like "SMB3" (NES) and "Super Mario World" (SNES), this time with a nice 2.5D and good animations. Together with new and old Mario abilities, enemies and obstacles, up to four players can play the game. And there are even new challenges as well. Also, you can even ride on Yoshi. So, is this game gonna give you a great bunch of nostalgia? Definitely.

Overall, this game deserves a full 10/10.
