- TriviaPrincipal photography began on July 6, 2021 (almost a year before Totally Killer (2023), a similar genre film, was first announced) in Winnipeg, Canada and ended in August, with cinematography work done by Tony Mirza and Halyna Hutchins before Hutchins worked on her final film, Rust (2024).
- Goofs2G was the standard for cell phones in 2003 and while it isn't used in the US any longer, modern phones are still able to connect to it because it is used in some other countries. So her phone would have gotten a signal, just no service since it wouldn't have been activated back then.

Don't believe the haters. This movie wasn't nearly so bad as a lot of these reviews would have you think. Sure it was a bit slow and not so slashery as I was expecting, but overall it was a sweet story with a cool take on time travel. I thought the acting was decent and the characters had me intrigued. My only small gripe was the clothing was a little too spot on. Sure we had those styles in 2003, but it's not like everyone wore them. This movie would have you believe everyone were Forever 21 models in 2003.
Some reviewers wondered why the characters had confusion about cell phones. They must've missed the scene in the high school where kids were using their flip phones. That's what cell phones were back then. An iPhone would've definitely been confusing to a teen from 2003. No cell phone looked like that back then.
Anyway, a good little nostalgic romp. Not sure I'd watch it again but it honestly wasn't a bad way to spend my Halloween night.
