Adele is a surgeon and works hard. However, when her father wins the mayoral election in the small town back home, she takes time off and goes there to celebrate. There, she accidentally backs into Grant, the younger brother of her best friend, who has moved back to town to work as the town's doctor. His clinic is old and worn out, so he's now working to build a new one. Adele steps in for Grant when he rests on her orders. Days go by, and she gets to know Grant more and more while reconnecting with her old hometown. But her job as a surgeon still awaits her in the big city.
